Publié le 18 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe spent a very relaxing week at 22 Balsam. The house was well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The view was the best part. We spent most of our time on the back deck. We loved riding our bikes to the beach!

Delightful all around!

It is right on the water, and it is a pleasure just sitting on the deck and looking out over the bay and watching the sun set (the house faces west). The house is decorated very well, and has all the amenities anyone would want. It’s a short walk/drive from the beach, which has very few people on it. The hosts took care of our needs, and are very professional. I will definitely book this house again!

Fantastic New England Waterfront House

Great getaway to relax and reset
Publié le 22 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayI truly enjoyed my stay here. Fabulously appointed and well-stocked with amenities, I had everything I could want to recharge my batteries right by the water. The views of the sunset across the bay were, by far, my favorite part, and I'm so glad the weather cooperated to afford me those golden hours every day I was there.

Can’t wait to come back!
Publié le 26 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe spent thanksgiving here with our 2 young children (9 months and 3.5 yrs) and had the best time! The house has everything you need and more. We enjoyed cooking together, playing games, watching sunsets and eating amazing pizza from YiaYia’s Pizza Cafe. We spent one day at the beach (short walk) and another day enjoying the museums and cafes in New Bedford. My child was in tears having to say goodbye to this wonderful home. We cannot wait to come back this summer!

Eclipsed the rest!
Publié le 21 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayI took my 92 year old mom to visit her best friend and for a bit of reprieve from a very difficult year. What a perfect retreat! The aesthetic of the cottage is unmatched in my experience or VRBO. The kitchen so well stocked that I was able to pull off a perfect tarte tatin (Made with glorious pears from Farm to Coast in S. Darmouth). The bay-facing doors and generous basket of blankets enabled us to cozy up and watch the total lunar eclipse in total comfort.
Brett was kindly and quickly responsive to our questions. As I think has been mentioned by others, this dear place is better in person than in its representation on the website, so I cannot recommend it highly enough.
