Good experience

The resort is about 30 mins away from town, not the resorts fault but I would get a bit car sick every time we left the grounds because the roads were so bendy. Resort is excellent, took a bit to find the gates code box. Door lock was jammed but after a few tugs it was fine. The house itself was comfortable and very clean and the overall experience i would say is excellent compared to a tiny hotel room

The pictures provided online were not of the actual cottage I got:(. I find that very misleading. I overpaid for what I got. When you provide pictures, it should be of the actual cottage you are renting, so there are no surprises.

We are very sorry to hear that you your expectations were not met. We try very hard to make sure that the cottages are shown properly. We do rent cottages as categories as La Casa is a very large resort. We also list multiple cottage pictures to ensure that the pictures represent the units in each group, but they can have slightly different layouts. The quality, number of rooms, and views are consistent throughout the cottage types.

They Should Have, but they Didn’t.

Couple of disappointing things: the walkway, patio and driveway were not cleared of snow AT ALL - which all other properties were and when I called the number was met with an abrupt dismissal of my inquiry - as if that expectation was ridiculous. Even a neighbour said they should have since there IS staff that do that regularly. We booked 2 weeks out so they knew we were coming. I was there with a broken ankle and on crutches, If it werent for my friends I would have had a way harder time accessing the cabin. The lady wanted me to go on a hunt for a shovel and as the guest I should have to do that especially since we are charged such a huge Resort Fee. Also we booked a Cabin with to rooms with Queen beds and were given one Queen Room and a Bunky Room (not ideal for an adult couple). Also the WIFI wasnt on the sign in sheet and knowing we were there in off season did not supply extra bedding for warmth.

Disappointed to learn that the beach cottage came with no beach towels, beach toys or floaters for the kids and no one available on the property to greet us or answer questions when we checked in.

Dear Valued Guest, While all cottage towels and linens are provided we specifically let guests know that Beach Towels are not provided in the arrival instructions. There is a floating trampoline, Kayaks and Paddleboards, as well as many items such as tennis, mini golf, and sports equipment provided, but we do not provide floaters or beach toys to every cottage. The upkeep and tracking of these items over such a large property would make that aspect very difficult. We apologize if you were disappointed by this aspect.
