Summary:

Beautiful sea and sand Surfside 'Livin' the Dream' resort 6-plex end unit #2, The Sea Turtle, boasts panoramic Gulf water views and long stretches of sun and surf to take in!  Enjoy the spectacular shimmering ocean view and sunrise with your cup of joe in the am and relax with your cool cocktail and dine al fresco on the covered deck right outside your front door in the evening.  You're officially on island time!



The Space:

With a king-sized bed in the master and small sectional sleeper located in the main living area, this is a great choice for those who wish to be right on the beach and steps away from the surf!



SLEEPING/BATH ARRANGEMENT: (sleeps 2 in beds, will allow up to 4 guests max- see description below for details)

~1 large bedroom outfitted with a King-sized bed and luxurious fresh white bedding (sleeps 2)

~ Small sectional sleeper in living area - please bring your own bedding and sleeping pillows (sleeps 2)



OTHER FEATURES/AMENITIES: dog friendly unit (the only one), coffee maker, ceiling fans throughout inside, guest comforts of home welcome kit, complimentary WIFI/Internet service, main level unit (does require stairs), common area outdoor charcoal grill, community washer/dryer

Just chillin' beach bar and grills, food (and beverage) trucks (like Surfin Rita Daiquiris To-Go), burger joints (like Pier 30 and Sharkies on the Beach) and tasty fresh seafood options (like Seahorse Bar & Grill and Beachfront Deck Bar & Grill) line the water. Surfside is your simple relaxing sandy beach, water sporting, surfing, fishing and crabbing vacation destination.

Every home is fully and professionally cleaned after each guest stay. In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels which are replaced upon every turnover including the duvet covers and shams (we've heard not every company does this, and we think that's just gross). We take clean seriously! When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!

Bring Fido! We welcome your furry friend (aka family member). 1 x well-behaved dog allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per stay.



WIFI/TV SERVICE:

Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!



979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:

All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!



CANCELLATION POLICY:

For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.



After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.



Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.

Roaches and ants. Messaged the host, said it had been sprayed and that’s why they were dead. No, dead cause I killed them. Brought me spray, didn’t kill a thing. No discounts, no apologies. Just there cause it’s “on the beach”. Couldn’t leave dogs food down to eat because of the invasion of ants. Totally disgusting.

Perfect little beach condo

My wife and I had a great time with our 2 dogs, the apartment was clean and cozy, right on the private section of the beach and there was always a spot nearby to set up our spot right by the surf. There isn’t technically an outdoor shower but we had a spot right on the deck to wash ourselves and the dogs off before coming back inside and the ac was nice and cool for us. We would definitely come back!
