Perfect Beach retreat once you arrive, shoes are optional! 1 minute walk to the beach with 2 comfortable Queen size beds. Sits on a small culdesac so it is not very busy with noisy cars. You can hear and feel the ocean from the deck. Near all the attractions but far enough to have a quiet getaway. You can't find many locations like this in Surfside anymore.

Nice, Clean, Well-stocked house

This is the 2nd time we have rented this house and for some reason, the 2nd time we had problems accessing the house at check in time. No email with the entrance "code". Luckily, the host saw us struggling to get in on the ring camera and gave us the code. After that, we had complete open communication. Due to the upcoming bad weather, we were contacted a couple times per day. We will definitely book this home again.

Great week before school starts

This is great location and a nice house for a small family. There is no dishwasher or laundry in the house, so be ready to take enough towels and clothes if you are staying for a longer time like us. Overall, great stay.

Property was clean and well stocked. Problem:The toilet backed up and after texting the owner and leaving a message for him to call me he did not. No toilet use for one night-we had to go to the gas station. The next day I was informed by the cleaning lady that the message was received but that it it was interpreted as not being a serious matter. The plumber who arrived stated that he would have responded at any hour as they are a 24 hour service.

Great spot and 5 min beach walk

Easy place to find and be at. Get to the beach early as on Saturday the beach will fill up and get busy. But we can back for lunch and to rest. Then went again after lunch and hung out. Ate supper at house and the room at everything stroll on the beach. Overall, great location and stay. PS the tap water is bitter and salty. Bring filter or drink bottled water

Nice place for small family

Location is optimal for the beach life, inside is really nicely decorated. Easy to use kitchen and dining, comfortable living area and beds. Suggest maybe blackout curtains during hot summer months. Lots of windows are nice, just hard to keep cool. Maybe a few less pillows and more towels. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful!

Good spot, but short one bed

Overall a really nice place to stay. Within 100 feet of the beach. Really quiet spot, though the beach did get really busy on the nicer days. House is cute and well maintained, and it has all the basics you need. Only issue was that the listing mentioned a futon/couch sleeper, but it was just a normal couch, so didn't work for sleeping (too short) for anyone in our family. We wound up sharing the king bed with 3 people. There are a few restaurants fairly close by, but it's a bit of a drive to most other spots. We went in to Galveston each day, which was an easy 45 minute drive. We preferred being where we were and having a nice quiet spot, rather than being in galveston itself, which was pretty chaotic and busy.

Quick Beach Getaway

The beach house was lovely. Perfect for us. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. Bed were comfy cozy. The linens were so soft. Nicely decorated too. The only complaint I have was the grill was very old and rusty. We weren’t to utilize it. Bought fresh shrimp to grill but ended up freezing them to take home. We loved this property and Surfside Beach

It was a good time

Overall we had a nice family trip. The refrigerator was not keeping our food cold. The manager who had been prompt with returning messages just stopped replying. Eventually we got it working better and didn't waste any food. Overall it had a great morning view of the beach, AC worked good and it was a short easy trip to the water. We all had a great time.
