Welcome to your perfect Galena vacation home!

This spacious home features luxurious living areas both indoors and out along with a downstairs recreation area. Enjoy cozying up to one of the two fireplaces when there’s a chill in the air, or enjoy the outdoor hot tub, fire ring and barbeque grill on those beautiful Illinois evenings. At the end of your busy day of golfing, antiquing, shopping, hiking, boating or whatever is your pleasure, retire to one of six plush bedrooms, each with a television and a private bath. Five bedrooms are furnished with king size beds while the sixth bedroom with two queen beds. High speed wireless internet comes standard.

The fully furnished kitchen includes an over-sized breakfast bar and dining area easily seating eighteen! For the grilling chef, a large barbeque grill awaits on one of the three patio areas. Dine alfresco or in the comfort of a screened porch.

Snuggled in the rolling hills just off Highway 20 and adjacent to The General Golf Course at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa, this is a premiere location in The Galena Territory. The Owners Club is a short drive away where guests can take full advantage of all its amenities including multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, exercise room snack bar and much more.

My family and I had a fabulous time celebrating my 60th birthday. I knew we would because I had my 55th birthday celebration in the same house. The house is verp spacious and a loving involvement. This time it was my siblings and children and being able to cook, play pool, ping pong, Shaffer ball and pac man. We enjoyes the hot tub. All of my family was very appreciative of my husband planning such an enjoyable 3 days privately to cook laughter and more laughter was everything for my big 60th. I hope to plan another special private event there again l.

We had a great time but disappointed in the condition of the house. I don’t understand the cleaning fee as we felt the house was not cleaned very welll at all. It is very disappointing and it frustrates me that we work hard for our money and expect a better experience. .

Family Reunion

This is our 4th year of getting away for a couple days with our kids. We decided this was the best accommodations so far. We really liked that the bedrooms each had their own bathroom. We also enjoyed the large kitchen table so the 9 of us could all sit together.

We had a group of 11 adults staying at the house for a pickleball trip. The house was perfect. Each room had an en-suite bathroom. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate our group. Family BIrthday Celebration Weekend

We gathered in Galena because some of our family is from the Chicago area and some are from Iowa....so perfect meeting place. The home gave us each a comfortable bedroom and bathroom and roomy living areas to gather. The adults and children enjoyed the basketball and swimming pool at the Owners' Club, and the restaurants at the Lodge. We enjoyed exploring the town of Galena even though it was an overcast weekend. Highly recommend this Galena Territory property.

Wonderful house that can fit the whole family

Wonderful house. It was very nice that all the bedrooms have connected bathrooms. The hot tub was wonderful. One thing would be to get new coffee makers, the ones they have took forever to brew.

Nice home

Overall the stay was very nice! We had a group of 10 for Halloween. The home was a nice size where our group didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. If I wanted to nitpick, there are a few things that definitely need attention. The back deck patio table was extremely unstable and there were a few loose duckboards. The main bedroom carpet could definitely use a cleaning. There were several used/dirty coffee cups put back in the cupboard. The coffee maker had mold. Some of the games were missing pieces/dice. Again, mostly minor things that didn’t affect our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice location

We enjoyed the size of all of the rooms and all of the bathrooms ! We were in Galena for a wedding in the Territories and the house accommodated my husband’s family from NY. The house was clean. Exterior of house needed some landscaping attention. Some of the furniture was showing wear. Garage had a strong gas smell. Door should be marked so you don’t open it and let smell into house. Management company was very responsive and accommodating.We would go back.

Excellent choice

We had a great stay. Plenty of room for everyone, great location. Bathrooms in all bedrooms was a plus. One suggestion though is putting a small refrigerator in the basement for extra food storage. Will be staying again.

Great choice for large family gathering!

Property is accurately shown. Very bright & roomy. Furniture updated since our last stay! Best place we’ve stayed in the Territory allowing our whole family of 14 to have a great time! Comfortable beds are appreciated! Would definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed! We’ve already booked our weekend for Summer 2025!
