Honeymoon stay

Everything is as expected and clean. The condos were quiet during our stay. Having food delivered was easy. We spent a week here and walked up and down the beach a couple times. It doesn’t take long to get anywhere from here. Yajaira is very informative with the information she gives you on check in day.

Condo met our needs. Owner answered questions immediately, kitchen was fully stocked with utensils/dishes and we were able to walk to many restaurants. The heated pool is nice and the property is gated. Could use some updating, but overall a good property for the price.

Overall satisfied only one issue

Check in was easy & smooth. Host sent a very detailed email a day prior to us checking. Front desk was also friendly & informative. As other reviews stated, the condos seem to be very old and could you major remodeling. Inside the unit was clean, beds comfortable. All the beach supplies needed were there for us to use. Chairs, umbrellas, sand toys for the kids. Beach is located literally right across the street. Walmart & sonic on the side. Everything was very conveniently located. The water got hot and didn’t run out, it was amazing ! Only issue but a very huge issue to us….the Wi-Fi ! There are 3 tvs in the condo. All have cable tv, one is a smart tv and 1 is a Roku. Well without the WiFi all we had was cable and we don’t use cable anymore. We’re all about streaming. For the duration of our 2 days we were only able to watch cable. Bummer. I talked to the host and the front desk. Host says Wi-Fi is an issue for the front desk, front desk have no solution. Host believes there is a Wi-Fi code that changes monthly and is only available to guests at the Victorian, however according to The Victoria, the Wi-Fi is free and public. No code needed so therefore anyone could be on it (including beach go-ers) so it didn’t really work. But I do not feel that is an issue with host, I just feel host should know that it’s public WiFi and we didn’t need a code. Host answered ever message that was sent during our stay and I appreciate that. If it came down to it, we would stay again. Fix WiFi

Thanks for your comments Lyndee. Apologies for the WiFi problems. Internet is provided by the HOA. They have 2 different nets. One for guest, That was I sent in the instructions. And a new one for owner. This didn't change de passcode. Due to a problem with the internet provider, the net for guests was out of order.

Read all small print

This property was listed as a 2 bedroom with a queen and a twin. The twin was in the hallway (not a bedroom) The floors were sticky and dirty, ceiling fans needed cleaning. The parking was outrageous. Not 35 but 110 there is a charge for anything with wheels. Truck trailer and bikes. Will not stay at this property again.

This comment is so typical that it's almost laughable. It is not my fault if the person making the reservation does not read the description well or see the photos. Before Mr. Escalera arrived at my condo he was already fighting because there were 2 couples and there was a single bed and a queen bed. That is well specified in the details of the accommodation: One Queen Bed in the bedroom. One twin bed compartment and a Queen sofa-bed. Is it my fault if he doesn't read? He complains about having to pay $110 for parking. The condo policy says $35 for up to 2 vehicles per reserved unit. If he and his companions travel with cars, trailers and several motorcycles, the condominium has the right, according to the established rules, to charge additional. He never notified me how many vehicles he would bring to the condominium to warn him of the additional cost. During his stay he never complained, but when he was leaving and after blocking the toilet, he wrote to me threatening to give me a bad review. I don't know with what intention he did it. But he has the right to complain and I have the right to explain the facts as they are. Please, if you are going to reserve a property, especially if it is for several friends, read the specifications of the rooms and beds carefully. This way you and your hosts will be spared bad times.
