Beachfront 8th floor Studio - Stunning View

A breathtaking view of the beach greets you as you open the door to this 8th floor studio. You can hear the lapping of the waves from the balcony and feel the Gulf breeze. Direct beach access is about a 2 minute walk from the building via a raised wooden walking path. No vehicles on the beach so you can enjoy peaceful walks along the seashore and let the stress melt away. Heated pool. Gym. Pickleball. Basketball. Bocce Ball.

416 sf studio condo located on the 8th floor. Faces the beach. Short walk over a raised, wooden path to the beach. No busy street to cross. No vehicles are allowed on the beach.

High speed WiFi and designated workspace.

Washer/dryer located on ground level (pay via app).

PTAC (Packaged Terminal A/C & Heat) and Dehumidifier

1 queen size bed and 1 sofa that folds into a queen bed which is best suited for 2 small children or 1 teenager/adult.

The center portion of white mirrored furniture pictured offers a place to hang clothes and the narrow cabinet on the right offers space to store clothes/groceries. The left side of mirrored cabinet stores extra towels/pillows and beach towels.

There is an interior latch on the storm door to provide extra privacy.

Full access of the condo. Access to the resort`s grounds including use of heated pool, fitness center, fire pit, Pickleball, Tennis and Basketball Courts, Bocce Ball, BBQ grills, picnic tables on covered patio, large grassy area, wooden,/raised path that leads directly to the beach. Outdoor shower and vending machines/ice machine and laundry room (pay via app) are on ground level. EV charger on parking lot available for a fee.

The condo complex is gated and has exterior lighting and cameras.

This studio condo is located at Islander East Resort on the 8th floor. It overlooks East Beach which does not allow vehicles. Peaceful and quiet beach area. Gated and well-lit condo complex.

Galveston is known as one of the most charming beach towns along with coast. In addition to the famous 32 miles of sandy shores, it offers fascinating historic architecture, beautiful Victorian style homes with a New Orleans flare, the 1892 Bishop`s Palace available for touring, an array of restaurants from open air, casual to upscale plus Pleasure Pier where there are rides, games and souvenirs and Moody Gardens with an impressive lazy river, aquarium and rainforest. Enjoy a romantic evening with dinner aboard the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat, a sunset cruise of the harbor or visit the Historical Seaport and Pier 22 where you can tour the 1877 Tall Ship, Elissa.

Looking for more action, try the jet boat thrill ride offered by Galveston Water Adventures where you can experience the famous “Hamilton Spin” that creates a high wall of water sure to get each passenger soaked. Stroll through the Historical Strand District making a stop at The Tremont Hotel for a visit to the Rooftop Bar for a spectacular view of the city and the harbor or catch a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. Rent a golf cart and cruise the seawall to 61st! There is truly something for everyone here.

1877 Tall Ship Elissa – 2.9 miles. Located on Harborside on Pier 22. Tours available.

Stewart Beach – 1.1 miles. Chairs, umbrellas, food, bathrooms are available. This beach is typically more crowded than the one in front of our resort, Islander East. There may be a charge to park.

Short drive to shopping, restaurants, Pleasure Pier, Historic District, Moody Gardens, Tall Ship Elissa and Galveston Water Adventures.

Room with a great view

Overall a very good, enjoyable experience. Owners responded promptly to text messages, but need for communication could have been reduced if a complete list of instructions had been provided at check-in. TV system in particular was a challenge, even with the owner's help. Our electrical engineer son figured it out for us.

Clean, Quiet & Comfortable

This studio unit was perfect for my elderly mom (88) while we were in Galveston for a family wedding. The bathroom has an easily accessible shower (a 2-3 inch lip to step over) for seniors. We brought along a removable suction grab bar to provide extra security stepping in & out of the shower & my mom was set.

Condo is located on the beach. We were on the private beach infront of condo. Stewart beach was walking distance. The pool was heated which felt wonderful. Inside of condo was roomy with an outdoor balcony facing the beach. We had a great time!

The unit is a studio so it is small but well laid out to use the space. The view is great! The building staff were very nice and the owner was very available to answer questions before and during out stay. Highly recommend the property.

Peaceful and Quiet

The stay was wonderful. The owners Mayvic and Mark were awesome and stayed in touch to make sure we were taken care of and to be honest that is the first time an owner stayed in touch and seemed genuinely concerned with how we were doing. The area was very peaceful and quiet just the way we like it and couldn’t ask for a better a cozier condo. If I had one complaint it would be a stronger air conditioning unit. At times during peak heat of of the day it seemed to have trouble keeping up with cooling the condo and it was noisy to sit on balcony. But that did not dampen our stay one bit and we loved every minute of it.

This VRBO was very nice. It was clean and had a great view of the Gulf. The location was just far enough away from all the noise and traffic in town to make it very quiet and relaxing. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! We would definately stay here again and we would definately rent from the owners again!

Peaceful and Restful stay

This property was exactly what my wife and I were hoping it would be. It was not too big but didn’t feel small either. We got to relax, be on our own schedule, enjoy an amazing view, and get easy access to the beach. The hosts were the best! They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and explore. We could not have had a better stay! If you’re just looking for a quiet place to rest for a few days, this is an excellent option.
