NEWLY REMODELED OVERSIZED 2nd row beach house sleeps 14+, 75 yards to the water.

Cheaper than beach first row houses, but only 25 yards further from the beach with an almost identical view and feel (no roads to cross, we're on the beach side of the main road). The wind and ocean spray are there. That magical beachy smell of the ocean.... Our roomy, beachy comfortable 2nd row Gulf of Mexico house with full amenities including a kitchen full of utensils and dishes, a full sized washer and dryer, three large bedrooms down and a giant studio/playroom/room-full-of-4-giant-bunkbeds with a full bath upstairs is just 75 yards to the beach on the beach side of San Luis Pass Road. You can listen to the waves all night! The house has a large kitchen table and a newly remodeled open kitchen so everyone can work together to make dinner.

It has great WiFi with smart TV's (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.), ceiling fans, standing fans, good a/c in the summer and warm toasty heating in the winter upstairs and down. The beach is wide, clean and not busy and RIGHT THERE! The sand is soft and fluffy. This is a perfect get away spot about 13 miles west of the end of the Seawall. Also has a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, brand new dishwasher, new retro fridge and new oven/stove. We do our best to keep it stocked with dishes and flatware and cookware, salt/peper, cooking spray, coffee and fixins. We've got dish soap and laundry soap and full sized washer/dryer. We've got an ironing board and iron. We stock toilet paper, paper towels, and bath towels. It's got smoke alarms, and a blasting hot and cold outdoor shower. Two new beach-side decks (upper and lower), too! You will love it!

Excellent property, clean and very comfortable. Great gulf view even though we were one row back. Easy access to the beach, a short 75 yard walk. Quiet location even during spring break week. First time using this property, liked it enough that we are already booked for next year. Mike the host was very pleasant and easy to reach with questions.
Great place if you have a dog. Amos loved it.

This home was spectacular in every way. However I did mention to the owner that there seems to be a lack of privacy with most rooms either having very thin curtains, or lack there of.I also made mention that as my group arrived we were standing at the front railing for a picture and it almost gave way upon us. The owner assured me it would be fixed upon our departure so as not to interfere with our movements while on vacation.We have NO regrets with this home as far as space for everyone, proximity to the beach, neighborhood, or spectacular views!!The sun rises and sets were lovely.And we loved visiting the little “farmers market”, if you will call it that, that set up just in front of the house across the street . There were more than enough clean towels. There was everything one would need for having a nice dinner. And the closeness of the local restaurants was an added plus !I would recommend this lovely home for any family looking for value and space as well as such treasures the waves carry up for the finding.We had a lovely time and don’t regret it in any way.

overall was good. there so no remote for masterbed room, internet was kept disconnecting, i guess due to wind. need a safety bar in bathroom with shower.something to hold on to. and kept seeing tiny spiders about 4 inside and some outside.

The property manager responded quickly when inquiries were asked, but the house reminded me of a Fraternity House. There was mismatched furniture, towels & sheets with names listed on the tags, unusable pots & pans & the perimeter of the house had not been cleaned. We will look for other options on our next visit.

Great place.

We had a really good time at this place. It has lots of space and is literally 75 ft from the beach. You can walk between the houses in front of you down the path and be on the beach in 3 minutes. Everything was as described. I definitely recommend this place. Mike is a great host.

Fun family vaca

Home was just as described and there was room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Nice thing was there was plenty of hot water for all 8 of us to have nice showers. Good communication with owners before we got there. It was a nice quick walk to the beach which was wonderful. Washer, dishwasher worked great, clothes dryer not so good which was disclosed in communication. . Outdoor shower was a terrific addition! The beach was sandy and the water was wet, just as we hoped for! All in all we would recommend this rental to anyone and would love to go back! The SUN KISSED FAMILY

Unfortunately the air in the loft was messed up

There were some issues but I contacted the owner and he is willing to make it right. We did stay there despite the ac upstairs not cooling below 76. It was hot. The downstairs ac was great. There was water dripping in one of the bedrooms onto the windowsill which I also informed the owner.

Third Time Stay

We keep returning to this place! We especially enjoy the balcony view and the breezes from the ocean - although it's second row, the ocean is SO close, you have a clear view of the water, you can hear the waves, there's a path to the beach, and it's close to the West End Marina, which has delicious food. That's why we'll be back in about two weeks!

Fantastic Family Beach House

Great place to have a beach get away that avoids crowded tourist spots. Very family and pet friendly, and fantastic access to beach.Home is well provisioned to allow cooking. We loved it!

Great Views and Host

Place was great! Host is attentive and fixed an issue with ac within an hr or so of reporting it. Great location, too. Mike takes care of his people. Check out the crabs on the beach at night if you go.

Nice property, needs more attention

Nice location, spacious and comfortable, not so clean though. We found dead roaches on cabinets and floor upon arrival. The dishes were so dirty we had to wash most of them before using. Found mold on the back of some pillows, which shows they had not been touched or moved for a long time. The towels were also so old and worn out. I understand these are issues that could have be solved pretty easily, had the owner inspected the house quickly before our arrival, and my point is a little more attention on the owner's part will go a long way. On a slightly more serious note, the downstairs AC wouldn't get warm - we put it on 72 and waited for a good 30 minutes before turning it off (the room temperature was 65 at that moment). The heater upstairs got warm almost immediately upon turning on.
