Absolutely enchanting! Staying at the 1890 Freeman house was like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts. ✨ The architecture is stunning, and the entire place was sparkling clean and impeccably organized. I especially adored the coffee station – a perfect way to start a peaceful morning on a quiet street. The bed was incredibly comfy, and I could tell every detail was thoughtfully curated, right down to the gorgeous clawfoot tub in the bathroom! The water pressure was fantastic, too. This stay was a dream come true, and I'm already planning my next visit.

My mom and I were going on a cruise and spent the night in Galveston. We chose The 1890 Freeman House because it looked beautiful and unique. We were not disappointed! The house is beautiful. It's filled with antiques that keep the charm of an old Victorian House, but it still has all of the modern conveniences (fast Wifi, televisions in the room, fully equipped kitchen, etc.). The owner is not on property but great at communication. She emailed and texted while we were there to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Check in and check out was super simple. Besides, the house being beautiful, the location was perfect! It's in a neighborhood full of historic Victorian houses, and it's walking distance to: downtown, the Strand district, and the seawall. I would definitely stay there again!
