Hotel Review

Centrally located in Garden City, this hotel is only about 15 minutes from Long Island Railroad Station Carle Place which makes it convenient to access NYC (about a 40 min train ride - goes to Penn Station and Grand Central Station, use TrainTime App). It is located across from Whole Foods and near several restaurants making outside food options easy to find. Several strip malls in area with other shopping. Jones Beach is about 15 min drive away (great family beach by the way!). As with most hotels, the pictures online make it look attractive but the surrounding area is just ok (another hotel is also next door). Bringing along our four kids, we stayed in a room that slept 6 (2 queens + sofa bed). Room was quiet and large enough for our needs. Front desk staff was very friendly. Parking is $10/night in hotel parking lot. Breakfast has various options, hotel coffee is great. We did not try the hotel pool or spend too much time in the room - just get on the train and enjoy the City!

Paying for parking is a money grab by the hotel.

Paying for parking while you are parked in the hotel parking lot seems excessive.

Loved the hotel and the space in the rooms. The individuals at the front desk were so kind every time we needed anything. I also loved that the parking was included in the cost of the room (unlike the hotel next door).

The room l stayed in was not vacuum properly and the air conditioner made noise all night. So annoying. I did not sleep well at all. And the dust in back of the TV was white and been there for a long while. The staff was very kind and helpful, but did not have another room to move me in, because they were book up. I am not complaining, l am just explaining.
