I was unhappy with the billing. They didn't charge me the US$$ credit card rates. They calculated in Guyana $ and converted to rate they choose and then charge hat in US$. When checking out I had to wait for someone to recheck the rooms to see if anything was missing before I can go. Totally crazy.

I don't really take time to leave reviews but this one I would not stay here again, nor recommend it. customer service and front desk was awful and unprofessional. First night my room had the strangest and strongest odor and they refused to change my room. You need to walk quite a bit for the gym which is within the mall. The restaurant should also be one star rating

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The property was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made it easy to relax. I especially appreciated that on the day of checkout they kindly held my suitcase while I waited for my driver later in the day—such a thoughtful and convenient service. The hotel has a pool (you do need to walk around the building to access it), and the casino, though small, was quite nice. I truly enjoyed the Guyanese breakfast each morning, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. The city center is about a 15-minute taxi ride away, making it easy to get around. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This hotel has the potential to be a 5 star but there’s still things that need improvement. When checking in the front desk staff are friendly but they don’t know much about the room and amenities. Breakfast is included but as we went there wasn’t any food left and the staff wouldn’t refill the stations, basically you pay for a first come first serve even tho it’s buffet style. The rooms are VERY clean and well stocked. The cleaning service was the only staff that went above and beyond. I was on the 5th floor royal executive suite and in the morning leaving my room I smelled the most rank fish smell in the hallways. It made myself and family sick to our stomach and rushing for fresh air. I would recommend a stay here but beware that they do have improvements to be made.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was accommodating. But strong language barrier. So get a translator app, It helps. And a strong sewerage smell in the building. I notice open pipe under the bathroom sink. The sink had no p'trap. It was a small hose that just went inbto the pipe in the floor. I think that's why I smelled the sewage smell. The mall is not completed. Only about a quarter done. Restaurant on b the second floor was nice for the breakfast and dinner.
