Thanks, Cory, for the feedback. It was our great pleasure to host you and your family including your 2 well-trained dogs. After your checkout our cleaning crew provided an excellent report on how well kept the villa was and how well behaved and polite was your wonderful boys. You did everything just as indicated in our house manual. It takes excellent guest like you to help us continuing keeping our property clean and continuing to provide the excellent service to our community of travelers. Basement apartment

The setting was pastoral and fine. The apartment was clean but musty. The linens were fair. We did not do any cooking. I cannot in all fairness give this a good review. I believe that the main house is under renovation. We were greeted on our second night with a commode in the driveway. Indoors the place had a lot of old rugs that were a tripping hazard. I would not rent this place again. I'm sorry. I have never written a negative review until now.

What a travesty of judgement as all our guest don't agreed with you as reflected in the wonderful reviews provided pertaining non only about our properties but also about or service. Even your original request for booking reservation indicated that you selected our properties for it's excellent location, amenities and beauty and you were looking forward to enjoy your stay. Judging by your complaints we understand that you were disappointed by the renovation on the main house above, and that make sense to us as we indicated that to you at your check-in about the inconvenience that may cause to you. However, ignoring all the beautiful amenities offered by our properties as clearly noticed by our former guests, (including yourself), the top notch customer service of our property manager, and discrediting the newness of our beautiful villa is deceitful, and untruthful. Even your text message send to our property manager on Friday morning January 12th, 2024 after replacing your requested hair dryer contradicted your conclusion since you were very satisfy up that day about the promptness and quality of service received and the beauty of the premises. Thought we provided and excellent review about you, we definitively would not recommend you to other host as exemplary guest. Warm regards Jean

Perfect Location

This is the perfect location for anyone interested in kayaking or canoeing as it is literally within minutes of the Potomac river. The property is secluded and surrounded by woods offering a quiet place to relax. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything one could possibly need. Jean was always available and responded quickly to answer any questions we had. A very nice stay overall. Thank you!

Thanks John for your important feedback about your 2BR villa. We really enjoyed you and your wife wonderful company during your entire extended stay of month and half plus at our property. I was always looking for opportunies to join you in the parking lot to chat as you are very approchable, kind and and very nice person to chat with. We didn't have any problem whenever you send a request to extend your stay even if we were canceling another guest to accept your request. We are looking forward to host you again in the future. Holiday Visit

Our family enjoyed our visit despite the listing description being inaccurate. We were expecting 2 beds in each room. There is a king bed in one room and a double (not a queen) in the second room. The property manager brought in a twin mattress after our first night so our 18 and 16 year olds didn't have to share a bed. I would say the place sleeps 4 with the option of a 5th (not 7). The second bedroom is accessible through the unit's bathroom or through a hallway shared with the renter of the 1 bedroom unit. The second bathroom is also in the shared hallway. This wasn't a problem, but was a little strange. Our kids didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the second bedroom because the door leading to the shared hallway had only thin curtains over glass doors. Overall the check-in and check-out process went smoothly. Location was nice - close enough to drive to the Shady Grove station to get into DC and near to the Potomac for early morning birding.

Holiday visit

My family and I enjoyed our stay during the holiday. The house was very spacious. There is a 2nd bathroom in a shared common space with the other renters, which I was not aware of but it didnt cause an issue. The owner was quick to respond when needed and even checked in with us to see how our stay was going and if we needed anything.

My vacation rental

The information on the website on this property were incorrect and misleading and some of the information were not even mentioned. After the fact I rented the place and paid and moved in the property, by reading the property manual the surprising facts come to my attention that some of them were disturbing to me and ruined my vacation. . I called the host and discuss the issues with him and he was rude and disrespectful and ignoring the facts I was discussing with him. He kept saying he explained everything in the manual book that was left in the property for the gusts and I was explaining that I found out these rules after I have booked the property and read the description and information on his website and I rented according to those information. But after I went to the property I realized there are some stuff that I wasn’t aware of them and if I knew I would not rent the property for sure because it wouldn’t be suitable for me and my mother to live there.

Ms Nazzi really failed to follow the VRBO and our rental's policies house manual as it related to following basics hosting rules. We have hosted many guest in the past but none of them ever got or claimed to be confused about what they are renting. These information are clearly indicated on the site. The 1Br and the 2BR are separated, individually listed, and each has own door and furnishing. On day one Ms. Nazzi entered into the next door guest' kitchen since the 1BR kitchen is in the separate hallway and complained that we didn't clean the house because the fridge contain food. We explained to her that she must be in the wrong villa and that could be another guest villa because her villa has 2BR and the cleaning crew just completed the cleaning of her villa the day before. The next day she called and complained again that her fridge is not cleaned, her 2nd bedroom bath is in the different hallway, and she doesn't know what belong to her her anymore. Just week earlier that villa was rented and the guest provided an excellent review about the same villa on the site, the 2BR rented from 09-09*2022 to 09-11/2022. (Please see the review). Mr Nazzi was nagging about everything, from the check in time to the ramp or the step going in the back yard, and belligerent, disrespectful, and screaming on the phone about how we messed up her vacation. We went out of our normal check-in procedures to accommodate her mom with wheelchair, allowed her to check-in very late at night pass 2am, and we provided her with all the utensils in her villa to make her staying enjoyable.. Despite the fact that we repeatedly indicated to her that it's a violation of our policies to enter or go beyond the perimeter allocated to her and defined in the site and going to next door guest villa or living area, she still insisting about having the right to used the area she rented as she wish. We had to called the 1BR villa guest to apologized for her multiple violation and her disturbing behavior. Despite all these, she failed to follow the checkout procedures indicated in the house manual, in fact she complained about the validity of the house manual. We will never host her again and we don't recommend her to any other VRBO host.

peaceful and relaxing property

Nice, very large home with a couple of apartments in the lower level. Bring binoculars so you can spot the birds in the trees surrounding the property! So peaceful and relaxing. Owner was really nice and accommodating.
