Publié le 15 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwaythe farmhouse is a great place to share among friends, it is huge, plenty of space indoor and outdoor. The pool was too fresh when we were there (mid november), but the sea was great (22°C) - Mark was available, very kind and precise when he gave us the key and all the help at the airport. A very good deal.

propre, grand. NO DISHWASHER
Publié le 6 mai 2019 sur HomeAwayMaison de village, très propre mais très sombre. J'imagine que c'est pour se protéger de la chaleur. Une chambre et le salon sans fenêtre sur l'extérieur. Nous n'avons pas eu très chaud lors de ce séjour début mai c'est pour cela que nous étions "plus sensibles" à l'espace intérieur. Chambre froide en bas (les serviettes de toilettes ne sèchent pas par ex) Terrasse bien exposée mais pas très grande, compliqué d'y faire tenir tous les transats au soleil.
Maison très agréable pour un groupe, nous étions 11 : les jeunes à l'étage et les parents en bas. ( 2 familles)
Grosse déception en arrivant (nous n'avions pas fait attention en lisant l'annonce) : PAS DE MACHINE à LAVER LA VAISSELLE : vraiment dur dur en vacances pour 11!
La vaisselle est juste aussi: pas de grand saladier par exemple, pas assez de plats.
Mark a été très efficace pour nous organiser le transfert de l'aéroport et la location de voiture à Gozo.
Quant à Gozo, y rester 1 semaine c'est dans doute un peu long . 3 jours suffisent, le reste à Malte et à la Vallette aurait été mieux.
Attention maison loin de l'aéroport et de la Valette : prévoir au moins 2h en voiture ferry compris.
Pays très joli par sa lumière, la couleur des pierres et les fleurs sauvages.

Quel examen injuste et pathétique de notre propriété. Depuis quand sommes-nous responsables des articles que nous ne proposons PAS à nos clients. Cette cliente n'a absolument pas pris la peine de regarder en détail ce qui est inclus dans notre propriété, alors son erreur est maintenant de notre faute!
Cet avis devrait être retiré de notre liste car son titre est purement inacceptable car nous n'avons jamais annoncé avoir un lave-vaisselle !!

Relaxation central!

The pool was amazing and the sound of the waterfall was so relaxing.
Great communication with the owner's, who couldn't have been more helpful.
We wouldn't hesitate to return.
Highly recommend!

Fabulous Property—Felt Like Home
Publié le 1 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were at the Penmon Farmhouse for 9 nights in November. We received a warm welcome and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The historical character of the house and neighborhood was charming, and we really appreciated the cleanliness and amenities provided. The time passed quickly and we were sad to leave. I would highly recommend this property for a vacation rental, and would definitely choose it again if our travels took us to the island of Gozo. Thank you to our hosts, Mark and Lidia, for offering up this beautiful updated “farmhouse” to travelers.

Perfect stay

The villa was an imaginatively converted old farm house. An eclectic mix of modern and traditional styles located in a very quiet village. Mark, the owner/manager, answered all emails quickly and timely. He was also able to arrange our transfer, by taxi, from the airport to the villa.

Gharb - Penmon Farmhouse - BRAVO!

The property itself was spot on with a lovely balance of traditional and modern. The swimming pool was delightful and a great size and the water temperature was perfect for us. Our families spent hours and hours messing about on the water.
The location in Gharb was ideal walking distance from the restaurants and local grocery stores. Gharb is a lovely small town very traditional.
Communications witht eh owners (Mark and Lidia) was perfect.
Penmon Farmhouse was perfect for us and we really recommend it to all of you that may be considering spending time in Malta and Gozo!

Publié le 12 août 2023 sur HomeAwayFabulous 2 weeks. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Hosts were very helpful and responsive when we had problem with WiFi (due to windy weather). Amazing places to visit. Would recommend highly to friends and family. Only improvement would be better glasses to enjoy delicious Maltese wine and also a dishwasher- not a problem though! Thank you Mark and Lidia!

Great villa
Publié le 21 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe villa was lovely, plenty of room for everyone and having your own bathroom is nice. The pool is a bit chilly as other reviews have stated but it’s not too bad. The host was very helpful with any issues we had and responded quickly. The directions to the villa were a little confusing but we got there in the end.
Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
