"We have stayed at The Boat Inn at least 5 times now. We just keep coming back! A very professional set up and extremely comfortable. Staff so obviously want you to have a good time and will do all they can to ensure that you do. Rooms are very clean and beds so comfortable. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, though it would have been good to see more vegetarian options on the menu. Breakfast is excellent. Aboyne is a very good base for exploring Deeside, Speyside , Stonehaven and Donside and Aberdeen. "

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location, nestled in its own tree filled garden, was relaxing and the hotel itself still retained the charm of the family home it was. We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money."

"Great management and staff. Everyone performed above expectations. I had a tv issue and it couldn’t be resolved so they upgraded my room. That was truly unexpected. The food was top notch also. The chef mixed a dip for my chicken that was very tasty."
