This is the dodgiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I booked a room for three people at almost $500 per night, yet was given a room with only one bed. The hotel then blamed me, claiming I had booked the wrong room. Since when is a customer expected to know every room layout? Isn’t it the hotel’s responsibility to provide accommodation that actually fits the number of guests selected at booking? The room listing showed photos that clearly did not match the room I was given. When questioned, staff dismissed this by saying the images were “probably just photos, not the actual room,” which is misleading at best. To make matters worse, the duty manager had no understanding of the complaint or escalation process and offered no meaningful assistance. Quality of the rooms is also leaves much to be desired. Basically, dirty motel level for the price of a good five star hotel. Overall, the experience was unacceptable and beyond ridiculous

Room was dirty someones dirty sock was left behind the bin a dirty face cloth was up in cupboard next to blankets a bogger was on the glass that was also not clean and there was hair in the bath no pool in surfers is unexceptable tv didnt work and glasses were dirty also parking an additional fee 20 paid nearly 500for a disgrace

Omelette prep is on same where pork is prepped. Facilities not working like gym, terrace bar and pool. Pillow had moulds. Hallway smell. Very slow checkin. Extra pay for parking. Good thing is Place is close to amenities and in walking distance, even from beach and restaurants.

The room was not clean, the black dressed chef was unprofessional. Complimentary coffee and tea were not provided in the room. The amenities were also inadequate, including a non-functional hairdryer. We regret that our stay was unsatisfactory.

Customer service by duty manager Liam was great. He sorted out the appropriate resolution for inaccurate info on the booking site. Many of the facilities you would expect at a Mantra and this price point are unavailable, i.e no food services beyond breakfast, no pool, spas or gym. Only pluses are the location is good (near a G:link stop, close to beach and eateries) and rooms are clean. However rooms are dated and worn, e.g. sofa is old with sunken cushions so you couldn't sit on it comfortably, cabinetry drawers and doors all misaligned. There are many other similarly priced properties with much better facilities, which I will choose next time.

Check in was shocking waiting almost 30 minutes in a line. The room was ok outdated but ok. Upon checking out we left a bottle of champagne in the room quite an expensive bottle called the morning to talk to the concierge counter to still have no response and they told me the cleaners through bottles or food out. This was clearly in a Christmas bag with my name on it and not a cheap bottle maybe $150. Never heard a thing back from the hotel.
