Room was not in a clean state when we arrived. There was sand bucket and 2 kick boards in the wardrobe that was not ours and still had sand in it. The light in the kitchen was blown, we asked them to fix it, no one came. One of the stove switches was broken and there were lots of fruit flies around the place. Other than that the location is tops being in central position to surfers paradise shops and beach. Pool areas were great too. Despite the cleanliness i would stay again.

Unfortunately, the worst accommodation experience for my family and I, ever. The unit was run-down, dirty (we had sand in our beds), the washing machine kept faulting so we were stuck dirty clothes. Floors were dirty. Rangehood fell off and to my disgust covered in old gooey grease. Toilets ran, one didn’t flush properly. Oh, and somehow 22 levels up, there was ants throughout the place. Bodywash ran out on day 2 in one of the showers. Coastal Letting (the property agent/manager) weren’t very helpful - wrote them an email early on asked them to call but they didn’t (or if they did, didn’t leave a msg or follow up). Just a kick-in the teeth experience for all the money we paid. Pretty shocking how these landlords and agents charge premium rates for such a poor product. And to Expedia, stop offering these properties, it will only do your reputation harm imo.

Hard to reach for enquires prior to arriving. The room was not cleaned properly on check in. We booked for a family of 5 however room is only for 4. We were brought a blowup mattress later in the day with a massive hole in it. Hubby slept on the couch.

A little dated here and there and check in is at a different location, however easy to manage. The apartment block is situated perfectly in Surfers Paradise, great place to stay with a family. Room amenities are a plus, having a washing machine was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

It was okay, but we probably would book elsewhere next time. The main things we didn’t love were the overall cleanliness of the room, we found other guests used wrappers etc in drawers and under beds, and did some dusting ourselves as some surfaces hadn’t been dusted. It didn’t feel clean and fresh. There were also still wet laundry items in the washing machine. We also expected in an apartment that we’d have all the basics/essentials, but had to go out and purchase a can opener (which we left behind as a donation for the next guest). Plus the hair dryer didn’t work and the additional one in the bathroom cupboard had a power plug for another country so couldn’t be used, so we also had to purchase a hair dryer. The things we appreciated were the close proximity to everything- it’s a perfect location, moments from Cavill Ave and right above Coles which suited us. The on site pools are really impressive and beautifully maintained.

We had an absolutely awful experience with Coastal Letting Co. The apartment we booked was nothing like the pictures, in terms of cleanliness and also hygiene. When we walked in, we were welcomed with: a rusty and broken front door (compared to all the other apartments on our level) sticky floors, crumbs on the couch and carpet, a dining table that hadn’t been wiped down, dirty dishes in the cupboards, a pile of dust and dirt between the bookshelf and kitchen, a beyond dusty laundry room, stains on the bath floor, a fan that barely worked, red stains behind the couch wall, a rusty toilet cleaner (which is the last thing you want to see) and a beautiful first morning of waking up with bed bites (the sheets were changed following a complaint, but the bites continued, we assume dust mites from uncleaned carpet). A cleaner returned to change the sheet, but besides that, the service has provided zero compensation for our unpleasant stay. Truthfully, this is not only the cleaners issue but a maintenance issue on the parts of Coastal Letting Co and the owner. The apartment requires MAJOR care that your everyday cleaner is not going to do (think: carpet cleans, cleaning the duct vents - things like that). Would not recommend booking through this service. In particular, our stay was at the Towers of Chevron, tower 1, level 12, advertised took has 3 single beds and one double bed ,2 rooms).

Great location, awesome outdoor area with pool, bbqs etc, rooms were ok but not really worth what we paid, but the location was great, right close to everything, nice views. We were staying as a group so had 2 other apartments booked, because this was thru a property management company and not the hotel itself it wasnt easy, we had to pick the keys up from a different property with no parking so hard to get in to get the keys, they made us stand their amd check in online, wouldnt just check us in when we were standing there which was awkward when we were on roaming and hadnt set our phones up properly yet, our apartments were on sperate floors across 2 different towers, we werent able to visit each other or meet at any other rooms as the keys only allow you to go to the floor you are on, none of this was explained to us so had some frustratong times stuck in lifts until we figured this out and made it really hard to interact with the rest of the group, parking also took a but to work out as wasnt explained, if i was to stay again i would be booking one direct through the hotel, not through Gold Coast letting, but if staying with a group id reccommend sonewhere else
