We only stayed for one evening but it was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The mattresses in this home are very comfortable; you don’t always get that lucky. It had everything we needed and more, was in a cute neighborhood with a nice view of Lake Egypt, and the host was great. —Snacks and extra toiletries were a nice touch and very much appreciated after a long car ride and a late night realization that my daughter forgot to pack her toothbrush.

Very nice place near the lake with a good deck view. Clean, updated, fully equipped kitchen. Good place for a friends gathering and/or a fishing trip. Neighborhood is good with friendly neighbors. Good amount of parking. You will have to bring your items up a set of stairs to the 2nd level.

Girls overnight after being on the wine trailFor a 50th bday! Gorgeous home! Super sweet host and wonderful get away. The home is packed with everything we needed including coffee pods, a yummy welcome basket and comfy beds! Oh and my very favorite surprise- a fan in the bunk bed room! We will be back! Amazing space overall. Loved the decor and everything that was included. Host was amazing, checked in on us to ensure we didn’t need anything the location was quiet and sits above the lake which offered a great view. Would definitely recommend!!! 10 stars!!!!

We had a lovely stay at Lake of Egypt—the property was beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained. The views were stunning, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with the family. The house itself was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout.The only hiccup was that the playhouse, which our kids were really looking forward to using, was under construction during our visit. Unfortunately, this wasn’t mentioned on the listing, and we only found out at the last minute. It was a bit of a letdown for the kids, but everything else about the stay was wonderful.Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place for families or anyone looking to unwind by the lake—just double-check on amenities if you’re counting on something specific.

This was such a nice property to stay in. Nicely furnished with a well stocked kitchen and spacious living/dining room for my family to watch movies and play games. The master bedroom had a super comfortable bed with quality bedding. My family enjoyed the covered deck, fire pit, basketball court and play house on the outside too. Very well maintained and highly recommend.

Outstanding rental

We all agreed that this rental is so much better in person. The great room is beautiful with a wonder kitchen because we enjoy cooking. You can tell the hosts are very thoughtful with their welcoming details and great communication. We made use of the fire pit, the games, the large deck with plenty of seating with great view of the sunset. We also enjoyed 3 on 3 basketball. If we come this way again, we would definitely stay there.
