Family get away

Lots of bang for ur buck with this property. We had nine ppl in our group and never felt on top of each other. Tons of space to sprawl out..main level family room..downstairs family room..two decks off of the back of the house..huge fire pit area! The three full baths were a huge bonus!

Wonderful stay

Amazing communication with the owner. Everything was very clean. Plenty of towels and kitchen items to use. Perfect house on the lake. Plenty of rooms for us and our teens. Grilling out on the upper deck and floating in the lake all day was exactly what we wanted for our weekend getaway. Extra large fire pit area for the whole family to be around. I would stay here again and again!

Perfect weekend getaway!

We had the best weekend! House was clean and had plenty of room for our 4 families. Brian was an excellent host. From the moment we booked he called and stayed in touch through out the trip to make sure we were good. Lake view was picturesque! We had kids from age 10 to 15 and no one was ever bored. Plenty of entertainment. Fire pit was on a peninsula to the lake and had plenty of seating for our group. The house had every essential item we needed. We will definitely be going back!

Lake House Retreat

If you like beautiful views and nature, this place is for you! Close to hiking trails or never leave and get your relax on. Enjoyed a great weekend at the lake house with family. Brian was a super host and would recommend a stay or 2 here.

A great place to get away from hustle and bustle

We brought our teens out to the lake house and spent the whole time talking about how we would come back in a second! Brian was so helpful. The kids unplugged and enjoyed the water, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, peddle boating, and watching the wildlife. The house was so clean and spacious, easy to stay out of each other's space, or to group together and play games!

Peace and Serenity

Here’s a revised version for clarity and grammar: We really enjoyed our stay. The house is situated on a beautiful lake and offers so much to do. We loved its proximity to Shawnee National Forest and Ferne Clyffe State Park, as well as the abundance of nearby vineyards. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, including clean towels, shampoo and conditioner, and kitchen utensils for making breakfast in the morning. Overall, it was a wonderful trip that provided us with peace and serenity away from the city. Highly recommend!

I booked this property with friends for a weekend. The host was extremely helpful from the moment I made the booking. The interior has been tastefully redone, and was extremely clean and inviting. All cookware and utensils were provided and well-stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. The sunrise over the lake was stunning. I would absolutely recommend and would stay here again.

Spectacular Lake House

We recently had a weekend trip and stayed at this gorgeous lake house. When we walked in I immediately noticed how clean, open, and inviting the house was and had a spectacular view of the water. The house exceeded my expectations as the pictures did not do this place justice. The kitchen was well stocked with all dishes and utensils. The bathrooms were also well stocked with plenty of towels, washcloths, and toilet paper. All of the bedrooms were spacious and had a very welcoming feeling. There are two large decks facing the lake, one on the main level and one on the lower level. The top deck is off the kitchen and where we spent a lot of time in the morning while drinking our coffee or grilling in the evening. There was a dock that we were able to tie our boat up to. For the water loving kiddos (big and small), there was also a floating Lilly pad which is always a hit! For those cooler evenings, there is also a large fire pit down towards the dock with more than enough seating. Luckily we had some unseasonable cooler temps in the evening and were able to enjoy a nice fire. The owner is very responsive. He would quickly answer any questions I had before and during our stay. He was incredibly helpful and wanted us to enjoy our weekend at the lake. We will definitely stay here again!!

A beautiful lake house!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property with gorgeous views, paddle boards, a fire pit, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The first thing that struck me was the spaciousness of the rooms. Each room was beautifully designed and provided ample space for relaxation and comfort. The kitchen and dining area were also impressively spacious, making it a joy to prepare meals and gather with my family and friends. The two large decks provided a perfect spot to soak in the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding nature. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the beautiful lake. The water was warm and inviting, perfect for swimming and leisurely paddling on the paddle boards provided. The floating pad on the lake was an absolute hit with the kids, providing endless hours of fun and laughter. I must also commend the owner for his exceptional hospitality. He always quick to answer any questions we had and consistently checked in to see if there was anything we needed. His attentiveness and genuine care for our comfort truly made the stay feel special. My experience at the lake house was nothing short of amazing. The spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, warm lake, and attentive owner made it a truly memorable getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation by the lake.

2024 Family Trip

This property has a wonderful location. A great deck and lots of big windows allowed for wonderful views at any given time. They were beautiful. The house has been nicely renovated. It was perfect for my family vacation. The boat dock was convenient and having paddle boards on the property was great. We paddle boarded every evening. The owner had great communication! We would definitely return to this property. Thank you for a lovely vacation!
