Just a few "oh,nooo" comments: laundry was left in the dryer and the washer had some gunk on the inside - the rubber seal when you open it. The dishwasher had spots of mildew in the utensils spot. The wall hook for the curtain in the bedroom broke on the first night - it was barely in the wall. The Keurig was a bonus, 2 touchlanmps in the bedroom with charging ports, large comfy sofa, magnificent views 24 hours a day. The pros outweighed the cons tenfold. The few negatives were only listed because it wasn't expected with the amount of money we paid.

Lovely View
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation was great for our travels to Mystic and to Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun.
Views were great as we saw sailboats and others enjoying the water. It was a bit chilly for the time of year to enjoy the patio amd grill. Plenty of space and beds were comfortable. Hope to return during warmer weather.

Perfect Getaway
Publié le 16 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was immaculate and stunning, looks even better in person. Host was responsive and prompt, check in was easy. 10/10 would rent again with my Mom in a wheelchair.

He blamed VRBO for this double booking
Publié le 2 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayI received my confirmation and drove to the location with the door pass code and found someone in my unit. Manager claims VRBO never notified him of this booking which I don't believe. I received at least 4 emails about this booking, do you not send a confirmation to the owners? This left my special weekend for my anniversary in shambles. My wife was very disappointed in me. So she went and booked another hotel 15 miles away. When I called VRBO they offered me a nights stay some where but my wife already booked a room with no refund. I asked them to apply the 1night stay to the new location. So I got screwed 2x's on the same day. This was a horrible experience, we deserve better

Perfect: location, weather, house, water view.
Even trains were very interesting.

Graduation Weekend.
Publié le 1 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayLocation was perfect. Loved the sounds from the naval base in the early moring, 7:50, and 8:00 am. A key concern was pulling out on to the road from the drive way. The bushes needed trimming. A left turn could be deadly. Visibily was so compromised when turning out of the driveway. I would consider that issue a priority in a return visit. And just a side note, there was insuficient tolet paper. Still love the location, and will return.

I thank you so much. I have trimmed the bushes leading into the driveway so you can come in and out easier and I have put sufficient toilet paper and paper towels in the unit.
