The Hampton Inn in Guthrie has a beautiful view, overlooking part of the city in a nice location close to the interstate. We had stayed there one or two years ago, and there is a noticeable decline in upkeep and cleanliness. Our bathroom could have been cleaner and it was also in need of repairs to the baseboards, it looked shabby. Concerned observations for a Hampton Inn and Suites.

Unclean and Smelly!
Cleanliness was the main issue. the sofa in our room smelled like a dog had defecated on it several times. We couldn't sit on it without gagging. The elevators looked like they are never cleaned or vacuumed. They also smelled like a working barn. We usually like staying at this hotel because we can count on the clean rooms....This location needs to look at their cleaning protocol. We would not stay here again.

No privacy in the bathroom
The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in several hours early. The hotel was not very busy. The shower was not as clean as I’d like. There was hair on the shampoo bottles and the conditioner was almost empty. but the reason I’d choose to stay elsewhere is the barndoor style bathroom door. There were gaps preventing any thought of privacy. You could see in the bathroom with the door shut and there was no lock.
