It sleeps eight: two queen bedrooms downstairs and two full beds in the loft. Spend evenings by the fire pit or put on a record. Dogs are welcome; the yard is fully fenced.

Hankins, NY is a hidden gem in the Catskills, offering a peaceful escape surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and the scenic Delaware River. Just a short drive to quaint towns, farm stands, and antique shops, Hankins invites you to slow down, unwind, and soak in the magic of upstate New York.

You will have access to the entire home besides some locked closets. You also have access to the wonderful fenced in yard.

Hare & Hollow is about six minutes from Callicoon and has earned more than 35 five-star reviews.

The main living area has vaulted ceilings and opens into a spacious kitchen with a large island, giving everyone plenty of room to cook and hang out together. The living room has comfortable seating, a smart TV, board games, and a record player.

Just off the kitchen, the screened porch has a second dining table and a full-size ping-pong table. The hot tub sits beside the screened porch, and a BBQ grill is available for outdoor cooking.

The main floor has two queen bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One bathroom is en suite to the primary bedroom, which also has direct access to the back deck. The second bathroom is beside Bedroom 2.

Upstairs, the loft has two full-size beds, a TV, a dedicated workspace, and a half bathroom.

Outside, string lights hang over the stone fire pit, and there’s also a hammock and front patio. The fully fenced backyard gives dogs room to run leash-free. For your comfort and convenience, the home is equipped with central air conditioning and a washer/dryer.

Callicoon is close by for restaurants, shops, and time along the Delaware River. The surrounding Sullivan Catskills offer trails for everything from relaxed walks to full-day hikes, along with renowned trout fishing in Callicoon Creek and the Delaware River system. In winter, head to Villa Roma for skiing and snow tubing, or make the drive to Roscoe and Livingston Manor for more restaurants, shops, and year-round exploring.
