Fabulous stay in Harrogate

Communication with the owner was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful place to stay in Harrogate
Publié le 29 juill. 2020 sur HomeAwayWe loved this well appointed home and it was a joy to make it ours for a couple of days. Convenient to get to and comfortable throughout.
We missed the entrance through the back-door at first but a good read of the check-in instructions, soon set us right.
The icing on the cake would have been if the coffee machine's milk steaming function and the ice-dispenser worked. However, these were not of material importance to us on this trip - so didn't bother us too much.

To supply us with parking disc at an additional cost of £5 per day. Unfortunately some things were a little complicated to use and maybe concentrating on having modern up to date devices more money could have been spent on simplistic devices that all could use with ease. That is why i have given a 4 star. Overall though pretty good thank you.

So pleased you liked the kitchen and bathrooms and the space but seems a shame to mark us down as we provided modern appliances which you found difficult to use. These are after all extras which most guests find go above and beyond and which usually earn us 5 stars. The property also has an extensive house manual if guests need specific instructions on how things work.

Lovely place to stay

Didn’t get 5 stars only due to some light fittings having blown bulbs. These should always be checked before new visitors. Light in downstairs basement bathroom not working making it dimly lit, no good for putting on makeup. Also bedroom (one without en-suite) dimly lit, needs to be brighter. Nice stay in Harrogate!

We walked to every area we wanted to visit, including the train station. Everything was updated and very nice. Just a few unwanted guest downstairs. There were a few spiders that had webs in the corners. They were of the small variety and not intrusive. We would stay again as it was very comfortable and well appointed.

Off road parking space for the apartment outside the back door is very convenient and the space is a good size even for my 4x4. Both bedrooms are located downstairs with one en suite and the other having its' own bathroom. Both are modern and well equipped. Living area very comfortable with 2 good size sofas. Very warm weather when we stayed so really nice to have an ice dispenser in the american style refrigerator. Rest of kitchen well equipped. All in all a very good choice for a short stay in Harrogate

Great location, home from home
