Penn Stater, Apt #7

Downtown Hershey, Overlooking Hersheypark and the roller coasters, this apartment is great for families. Beautiful 3rd floor apartment in a historic building. Full kitchen and 2 Bedrooms ( kids room is a walkthrough to parents room, with doors) and one bathroom with Tub. One of 9 apartments in an old historic building with stairs but all brand new furniture and appliances. We will make you fell like you are staying in our home!

Reminder: this is a historic building and does contain steep staircases. Fenicci’s restaurant located on the first floor of the building. Wake up to the kiss lights on Chocolate Avenue and have fun in Hershey. Walking distance to all amusements including HersheyPark, Hershey Stadium, ZooAmerica. Please note with the construction the walk is now 15 minutes to the park Free Parking and all linens etc included.

Overall for what we needed it was good. It is not set up very well for cooking. There are a few pots and pans, but certain things are missing such as a can opener. So you could only get so far with cooking there. They really need to fix the bathroom window to where people can't see in while you're using the toilet. The blinds only go down so far so they need to add a cling to the window to cover up the rest. Also, the stairs are very narrow and if you're on the third floor it is quite a few of them so I would not recommend if you are lugging up a ton of luggage. Also, it states that it sleeps five, but the fifth bed is actually just a regular couch. They should either make it a pullout couch or at the very least very clearly state that in the property details.

The apartment was great for the one night of our stay. It's was clean and very quiet. The stairs I was not prepared for with carrying up stuff for my 2 and 4 year old but we figured it out. I will definitely be keeping this place on my return list.

Great location, great appartment. It is on a third floor walk up though. Still there was very little on the floor, so it was basically childproof for our 2 year old, which was a big plus. The tub is great for bathing them. For parking and check in, my advice is to thoroughly read the directions on your listing before going. Parking isn't obvious, and they're not super responsive, but it is all laid out quite nicely on the listing. There's a free lot you can park in a two minute walk away. I was fortunate enough to find spots in front of the the place to load and unload. The loacation right in the center of town was perfect, and it was nice having our own room with a door to keep the kids out. The bathroom blinds don't go all the way down, which is a little wierd, and lugging our bags up and down 3 steep narrow sets of stairs wasn't fun, but overall I thought the positives outweighed the negatives. I would stay there again.

It was very convenient to the downtown area, and exactly as described. We ate at the restaurant downstairs to the unit and they were incredibly kind as well. It was a great experience staying close to Hershey Park, yet still quiet at night.

This is a great location for anything "hershey". Apartment type vrbo. We had 2 kids and 3 adults and it was the right size for us. It is old and located above a historical restaurant. It was quiet and the restaurant was closed. So i can not say how the noise would be with the restaurant open. No frills. Clean.

Great location and great space. We did a weekend trip to Hershey with our family of 4 and the space was perfect. Less than a 10 min drive to the park and plenty of space for all 4 of us.

Overall okay

Liked that it was close to the park. Wish parking was better. Odd layout. It’s was extremely hot as the window air conditioning units were not big enough to cool down the open living room/kitchen/bathroom area. Overall it was ok.
