Confusing Hotel

They didn't seem to know we had a reservation, and it was hard to know who worked there. We got locked in in the morning and had to scale the wall to find an alternate way out. They stayed up listening to music at wild party volume until 4am, keeping us from getting sleep. The place was a trash heap from a party they had earlier that day. No toilet seats or tissue in the rooms. Community kitchen was locked. Pool was unclean. We were also the only guests, so it had this desolate feel. No caretaker anywhere in sight. We wanted to check out but couldn't find anyone who worked there (and had no clue how to contact anyone there), so we drove across the trash-filled courtyard to the dummy locked gate and found a new place. Hotels.com and Cone wouldn't refund our money, which I get since it was a nonrefundable reservation. But neither of them worked with us to resolve the conflict, so stay at your own risk. The next place we found was very accommodating and super nice.
