The room was touted as an 'upper floor' room. The room was newly refurbished and looked nice. The bathroom had a new bathtub, new basin and a new toilet. All new plumbing fixtures too. However, the second sink and mirrors in the living room had be removed. This feature was such a 'god send'. It meant that there was no waiting to use the basin in the toilet to wash up, brush teeth, etc. There were new wall art and a new dresser too. Nice. The mattresses on both beds were old, sagged when weight was placed on it and very soft. No support at all. Woke up with an aching back each morning. I loved the Pagoda and have been staying here several time per year for more than 50 years. What happened?
