Not as advertised
Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayI was disappointed in the rental. The listing should be changed to be straight forward. I was looking for a place with easy access to the lake and the listing said “steps away” from the lake. Not sure if they were talking about Godzilla or not because the property is up a hill and there is a road 3 train tracks and a highway between you and the lake. Expect a 15-20 minute drive if you want to play in the water. I have nothing bad to say about the cabin. It was lovely and a perfect space to get away. The view from the deck was beautiful, just not as close as I though which was a bummer.

Majestic location
Publié le 6 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had the most amazing time on the lake and hiking the surrounding area. The home was perfect for our home base during our adventure and well taken care of by management. View of the mountains and lake was breathtaking.
Few minor issues:
Fridge needs replacement due to smell and lack of getting cold even on high
Xbox did not work
Gas grill was not cleaned and a fire hazard
Other than that, was an amazing location.

Amazing View
Publié le 3 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe view was amazing and the deck is where we spent most of our time. We were disappointed that there was no wood as seen in the picture. The floors were very slanted and hard to walk on. The view was the best. Icehouse Pizza was fun..just a short walk away.

Rustic Little Getaway
Publié le 30 août 2022 sur HomeAwayIt's a nice, no frills place to stay with an awesome view. Dated but clean and had all the essentials. A few things could use some maintenance, like a couple of non-functional outlets and some barely openable kitchen drawers. The outdoor furnishings were worn but serviceable, though the umbrella in the photos was missing entirely. Again, it's all about the view with this place but be aware that there is a lot of traffic noise from the highway so you won't be enjoying it in silence. Be warned that there are a lot of steps getting down the slope to the kitchen door so not necessarily the best choice for people with mobility issues. Ice House Pizza a hundred yards down the road is good food with very friendly people but there's not much else within a half hour drive of this place. Also, no Wi-Fi and virtually no cell service, which may be a plus if you really don't want the office to be able to reach you. Overall, it was a pleasant couple of days.

The basics with a spectacular view

winter getaway
Publié le 2 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwaycute quirky older cabin. Wood burning stove was cozy. Beds comfortable. Some basic things missing. (lots of firewood for the wood stove, no fire starter/paper. Coffee pot but no coffee filters, small things like that.) Overall good stay. Most amazing vew of the lake!

Never wanted to leave
Publié le 11 mai 2021 sur HomeAwayCute house with a few quirks but beds were comfy, the view was incredible and it was nice and quiet the entire stay. Definitely wasn’t ready to check out. Kitchen was fully equipped with all that we needed to cook meals. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Amazing views
Publié le 11 mars 2021 sur HomeAwayClean place, outstanding views, and easy booking. No internet and that was the only problem and it was a major inconvenience. Cell service with Verizon also wasn't great. For corporate travel this is important. Otherwise, a great place for a vacation.
