We have stayed at your hotel numerous times and have always had a positive experience. However, during this most recent stay, we encountered a disappointing issue that I feel is important to bring to your attention.
Before leaving for our holiday, I phoned the hotel and asked to speak with the manager. I believed I was speaking with, and I specifically asked whether it would be possible to leave two pieces of our luggage at the hotel for two days while my husband departed on a cruise and my daughter and I flew back from New York. I was assured that this would not be a problem.
Unfortunately, when my husband checked out today and brought our luggage downstairs, he was informed that the bags could not be stored. The staff member he dealt with—and whom I later spoke with—was rude and showed little concern for our situation, despite the fact that I had arranged this in advance. As a result, my husband has had to take the bags with him, leaving my daughter and myself without luggage until 6 December.
We are already booked to stay at your hotel again on 6 December, but this experience has caused us considerable inconvenience and disappointment.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide clarification on why the previously confirmed arrangement was not honoured.
