When visiting Puerto Rico, Palmas del Mar should surely come first to your mind as it is the most exclusive residential resort on the island!

Book your stay at this luxury executive home which features two-story foyer, two living areas, island kitchen with all appliances and breakfast space, high speed internet, studio that could be used as game room/loft, interior laundry area that includes washer/dryer, secondary bedroom with full bath downstairs which is wheelchair accessible, and let me not forget to mention the in-ground swimming pool and spectacular ocean views of the Caribbean Sea, El Yunque, and Vieques from two relaxing terraces/balconies.

Included in the nightly rate is the use of a golf cart that seats up to four passengers which is an excellent way to travel to many of the attractions/activities within the resort including hotels, a variety of fine restaurants and casual dining to satisfy everyone’s tastes, beach, golf course, tennis, Equestrian Center, and clubs. Also, we just installed a power generator. Please at the end of your visit, please fill the golf cart with gas, the same way you received the golf cart.

Vacances réussies !!

Nous avons louĂ© la villa Ă  2 familles. Elle est spacieuse et permet de loger facilement 4 adultes et 6 adolescents. Bien Ă©quipĂ©e mĂȘme si la cuisine est vieillissante. La terrasse est agrĂ©able pour dĂ©jeuner mais mĂ©riterait un store le matin. Les enfants ont vraiment apprĂ©ciĂ© le billard ! La voiture de golf pour circuler dans la rĂ©sidence est un plus indĂ©niable. Il manque des informations pratiques dans la maison, concernant l’utilisation du jacuzzi par exemple... Globalement nous avons beaucoup aimĂ© notre sĂ©jour!

This house made our stay more than enjoyable! Beautiful, clean (none of us saw a bug inside), the kitchen have everything you can imaging; cookware, coffee maker (expresso and conventional maker), toaster, etc.; AC units and TV's in every room, balcony in 3 of 4 rooms upstairs with great view to Vieques, Pool was cleaned and they were coming to clean it constantly. Patio, spacious and peaceful with a hammock ...in the video you will see they are building a massive house next door but believe me; it won't bothered you at all...even the workers were respectful. Location could not be better; quiet and safe; you need a code to get in after 6pm. Pool table and golf cart are a super plus...my adult kids enjoyed it and if power go out, no problem...house have a new backup generator ready to go. Big shut out to Carlos Vera and Gladis Rosario...property managers; great hosts, great communication, great people; they made us feel like we were part of their family. I will recommend this house to anyone. We will definitely come back...

Palmas Overlook Vacation

Lovely well-appointed home with plenty of space for large group of diversely aged individuals. We were comfortable, each with a terrace view.Home & grounds were well-maintained & aesthetically pleasing, blending in with the splendid tropical setting & unlike the surrounding villas--private. Private pool. Unfortunately, adjacent construction interfered with the ambience a bit. Use of golf cart was a plus our younger adults enjoyed.Homeowner (distinct from on site manager) is exceptionally pleasant & responsive.Major issues: 1. Check in process--inflexible. Although, we appreciate the personal touch, it can add to guest stress if pressured to arrive at a specific time. Providing keyless entry or lock box may be a viable solution. In addition, print out important instructions & place in binder eliminating hurried on-site manager. QR opened inconsistently. 2. Amenities-- FYI-Guest passes are only valid Mon-Thurs. Club may be closed weekdays for maintenance as well. Guests should craft alternative plans or get beach access at the Wyndham. (Parking fee applicable). Club related matter. 3. Hot tub was tepid at best. 4. Gate entrance fob malfunctioned. Obtain link to access code from the accommodating owner. Minor stuff--some house supplies stock was low for party number. 2nd floor bathroom could use some repair. Overall, the home was beautiful and made for an extremely nice stay for our crew. We thank the gracious host for helping us create wonderful family fun memories.

Great Puerto Rican Holiday Casa

The house is classic PR Architecture and was decorated for the holidays. Spectacular View, Great Neighborhood, Nice Kitchen, Pool Area and Outdoor Dining. The generator worked great during an island wide New Years power outage. The golf cart was very convenient.

Best 50th Birthday Week

I had an amazing time with my friend and family. House was better than advertised. Easy check in and out. I'm originally from Puerto Rico and my friends were visiting for the first time. They all had so much fun. My fiance and I got married at the beach and celebrated my 50th ziplining in El Yunque. Over all an amazing getaway.

More than we expected!

This is a beautiful property in the lovely resort community of Palmas Del Mar. We were surprised with two golf carts when we arrived, which was perfect for our group of 8. We used these every day to explore the many secret gems of the area. On one of our last days, we found a hidden beach that we would have frequented had we known of it earlier. The property is more amazing than posted. There was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. Three balconies overlook the ocean and the island of Vieques. Only 1 complaint--the grill had no propane.

A perfect retreat

I’ve rented Gladys home about 4 times over the last few years. That should say something. My mom and dad are elderly and this is a perfect home to accommodate them and their needs. The layout of the home is perfect with ample space for all. Breathtaking views from every level that pictures just don’t justify. A beautiful pool and well maintained landscape that makes you feel in paradise. The host and contact person for the home were professional, polite and always there if needed. Better than listed!

This is a great house to rent. The pictures don’t show just how nice the Propery actually is and they are easy to work with. Had a fabulous vacation. Having a golf cart was wonderful - we rented a second so we didn’t use the car when we stayed in the community. We toured approx 1/2 the time and travel / location as easy including airport. Good food options, local secret beach, marina tours 5 minutes away to fish or snorkel, food delivery, small market, golf, beach party etc. The pool was wonderful, clean, had floats and balls for teens and adults. Kitchen easy to use. Maybe a new toaster and bigger coffee pot but if that’s your biggest need vacation is a success right? We cooked and found what we needed. They supply a few dishwasher tabs and washing machine pods. Might need more if you plan to use these often. We didn’t. They left a bag of ice to use with the cooler and provide plenty of towels and beach chairs. You won’t need anything. Had a minor issue and Carlos responded and fixed within 2 hours. Views are fabulous. Outdoor furniture is comfortable and plenty. Plenty of room indoors. Air conditioning works great. Loved the retractable sunshades poolside and covered patios. The hammock was a favorite. Beds were comfortable. We were not traveling with kids but they had tons of extras if you are. They have a pool table and games. Checkout simple - they do almost everything for you. All in all I recommend this Propery plus the neighbors are friendly and welcoming like all of the people we met in Puerto Rico.

Great experience

We had a great time and the house was perfect for our multi generational family. The pool was especially a hit. we’ve stayed in palmas before and it never disappoints. Furniture could use some refreshes - fairy worn - but a great property with beautiful views!

Beautiful location and house.

This is my review. I will list the pros and cons. Pros: The house is gorgeous and the pool was spectacular to have to ourselves. Laundry facilities were a plus as well as the golf cart. The rides with the family around the stunning neighborhood were a blast. The golf course was amazing. Cons: I'm a firm believer in advertising what you have as well as what you don't. We arrived on day one to a dirty pool. Big time bummer. The master bedroom door was making a significant loud sound when closing it. I asked Carlos for assistance and he never addressed the door. The pool xleaners came the following day. The jacuzzi in the master bedroom did not work. The couple did not find that out until after taking the time to fill it on the last night. We did not bother to call Carlos because he was not very available to us. I saved all of my text with him. We requested extra blankets. I was told by Carlos he would come up with some and he never did. He did drop off my golf passes and gave us the keys to the house and cart. One of the fobs that operated the gate to allow entry had a dead battery. We had 2 fobs for 2 vehicles so this caused issues. Several times interrupting guests to come and open gate. Once again Carlos never replied to this issue. The pool area smooth tile is very slick. I personally fell and injured myself. That is the risk I take but it should be noted and addressed for future safety. Overall we made the best of it but when you advertise amenities a checklist should be made and checked before guests arrive. There's no question it's a beautiful spot and we had a great time. My younger brother even proposed to his girlfriend while we were here. I would recommend it only if some improvements were made or upfront notice that some things are not available. If not, adjust the price.
