Couple’s Getaway

This is perfect for a couple looking to getaway alone, secluded, and “quiet”. The frogs go wild after dark but they calm down around midnight. It’s small, and that’s the point
 to be close and reconnect. We enjoyed morning quiet time on the little front porch and being close to the market and lots of food options! Rose was very responsive and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Nice and cozy.

The cabin was clean, bright, and airy. The decor is very pretty. The Bed was super comfy, bathtub was spacious and relaxing. Internet connection and large tv with Roku were a huge bonus. We enjoyed the sound of the frogs at night and the fire pit. We were very happy and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Tiny cabin, tiny improvements.

Nice looking inside, comfortable for 2 people. No dish soap for hand washing the dishes. Could use a few more plates and silver ware. No furniture to empty suitcases into. Nice place to just stay in bed watching TV or relaxing in the jacuzzi tub.

Heater didn't work. Turned on but never blew any heat or air.

We had to turn on oven in middle of the night to heat the cabin. We did call property manager. They offered to send a housekeeper out. I was familiar wirh the unit, it just wasnt blowing.... the oven heated the place sufficient for the night.

Cute and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. A couple points of feedback. We would expect a bit more from the cleaning crew. Remove the spider webs from the window seals and from porch railings. Cob webs in the decor inside the house. Deep clean the jacuzzi tub. Inspect the utensils and dishes after expecting guest to wash their own dishes. Overall it was a great cabin. Love the decor and color palette. Just need a bit more attention to detail on the deep cleaning. Trash can was dumped over with the trash from the last guests. We had to pick it up. One last thing, the remote to the TV does not have enough range to use it while in the bed. You have to have it at the end of the bed for it to respond. Slight annoyance. Stock with a couple bottles of water and coffee filters that fit the pot. The coffee pot is NOT the coffee pot in the pictures. Suggest upgrading to a pot that allows for more than two small cups.

Fun getaway

This place was so cute! Bed was comfy and the tub was so relaxing after hiking all day. The first day I was there I had a little incident with a hornets nest and got attacked, I immediately reached out to the emergency contacts and had someone out there quick to spray, they were very accommodating! I highly recommend this place to stay! Plus it’s super close to everything and very convenient.

The jacuzzi tub had hairs in it as did our bed. The shower gel was empty. There was one wash cloth for 2 people for 4 nights. The remote batteries were nearly dead. The area around the cabin was grown up and not well maintained. Extremely disappointed with this stay. Ultimately the cleaner did come and leave extra towels and HAND towels, not wash clothes as requested and changed our sheets

Birthday weekend at the Love Nest

My husband and I stayed in the Love Nest for 3 nights and we really enjoyed it! It is a super cute little cabin just the right size for 2 people. It was clean and nice and cool. The fire pit was fun for roasting marshmallows! We grabbed a gourmet Smores tray from the Rolling Fork Takery just down the road that was amazing!! The jacuzzi bath tub was nice and relaxing but it is the only way to bathe. The tub has a hand held shower attachment as well. It was a little hard to find considering it was not located on goggle maps and there is no internet reception out there anyways (there is internet access in the cabin). So get directions before you go!! We really enjoyed our stay and our time in Hochatown!!! ❀

Charming and relaxing

My husband and I wanted a getaway for Christmas that was kind of isolated. We did get out into town to go hiking at Beavers Bend and drove around looking at the scenery. The cabin is close to local breweries and small restaurants. You can make it as secluded as you want or be social. There are other cabins around you. We enjoyed a hot bath after our hike and we were shocked that the water stayed hot to fill up the whole tub. We enjoyed the large screen TV watching movies. We enjoyed the fire pit sitting by the pond. I enjoyed sitting on the porch reading while my husband grilled. The kitchen is small, but plenty room to cook meals. It was also stocked with the essentials. We enjoyed our 4 night stay and will definitely be back. Thank you for the small touches- bath salts, coffee/sugar/creamer and especially the Christmas tree!

Home away from home

My husband and I needed a quiet vacation together. When we found this little cabin we knew that is where we needed to be. We booked Sunday through Wednesday and had a wonderful, relaxing time together. We slept well in the comfy bed, enjoyed lots of time in the tub, and spent time outside around the fire pit. It was everything we needed to unplug and enjoy each other company. The place was clean, warm, cozy, and inviting.
