"Amazing hotel. Friendly staff, great buffet (consisting of Chinese favourites like dim sum, congee, yangtao and rice noodles. Also Western favourites like coffee, croissants, bacon, sausages and waffles. Rooms had bar fridges and Toto toilets with bidet. Complimentary water was provided. Also rooms had a USB charger and outlets compatible with North American plug. Nice amenities includedan Unheated pool, hot tubs (39c) and minutes walk from HCC building which had shops to buys coffee, drinks and if so desired, Burger King and Pizza Hut."

"My stay at Sofitel Haikou was exceptional as always. The rooms are high-tech, spotless, and very well maintained. It's a perfect blend of comfort and modern luxury. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the service team on duty on 11 November 2025(around 9am–10am) for kindly arranging an early check-in and sending our luggages to our room within 10 mins. We had an early flight into Haikou and my mum was tired, so the thoughtful gesture was deeply appreciated. I also want to thank the service team on duty on 12 November (between 10am–12 noon). After checking out, I accidentally left my bag at the hotel, and the staff were incredibly helpful and efficient in locating it for me. Every experience at Sofitel Haikou has been nothing short of excellent. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality and impeccable service. You truly made our stay memorable! Sofitel Haikou will definitely be my number 1 choice when I return to Haikou. "
