The breakfast/dining room was so delightful. Every morning we would have the most vibrant/colorful birds visit. This hotel has such a tranquil vibe and we wished we had more days to stay there. The staff is very kind & helpful. We loved our stay!

The hotel is fabulous and the beds super comfy. Breakfast was also great. Unfortunately it is far to walk so you must drive to a restaurant and the hotel owned restaurant was bad. They took our order but forgot us. Even when we asked about it they said it’s coming. Over an hour later the other waiter confirmed the order was not put through. Then the origin waiter said we had wanted to wait and put the blame on us. Food was okay. Can not recommend it

This is the place to stay in Ilhabela

Some may think it a little far from the historic center but the Kalango Hotel makes you almost wish you didnt have to leave anyway. Absolutely beautiful design and the most amazing staff from the front desk to the gardeners and housekeepers. Breakfast was plentiful and the downstairs bar a delight in the evenings or probably any time when the weather permits. Comfy beds and rather large rooms when compared to those we have stayed in in the historic center. Best shower ever! I cannot thank the staff enough for making us feel welcome from beginning to end. I have always loved the historic center of Ilhabela but now I cant see myself staying anywhere else. Thank you Kalango!
