My partner and I stayed in a pool villa for 1 week in Feb. 2025. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay on Islamorada with lower expectations, this is an option. My positive feedback: private covered parking was great; upon check-in the room was clean & smelled good; the pool was nice & well maintained; being on the ocean was lovely; the hotel’s location near shops & restaurants was very convenient and within walking distance. The front desk staff were friendly, too. My negative feedback: the pool deck was not clean/maintained; we requested our room be cleaned but housekeeping never showed up; we were told to put excess trash outside our front door, where it sat for almost 2 days; the bed & pillows were very uncomfortable; the room was in need of maintenance, repairs, & new patio furniture; the hotel ran out of OJ and shampoo for several days. Overall, I believe they were short on staff and need a maintenance crew. The pool villa we stayed in needed a total overhaul.
