Short walk to waterfront on country road down to the charming Stein Inn Pub for lunch and dinner (make reservations). Wished we had spent a week or two! Highly recommend the Isle of Skye pony trekking therapy center for a pony ride!

Unbelievable Skye Retreat

The house is beautifully appointed and there are incredible views from every room. It faces west and we were able to see unreal sunsets 3 of the 4 nights we were there. The kitchen is well stocked and each room has its own bathroom and closet (rare in the UK). The house is fairly remote, but that's part of the experience! The little "town" of Waternish is lovely and the nearby pub the Stein is one of the best dining experiences we've ever had - definitely make a reservation! Really can't say enough good things about this property. If you're considering a Skye vacation and this house is available, look no further!!

Just amazing

Saltwinds is Luxurious and Spacious!
Publié le 15 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThe view is breathtaking! The house itself has an amazing kitchen, huge master bedroom and two other large bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. Comfortable beds. The kitchen is spectacular. Any appliance you could ever need. Parking no problem, Internet no issue, etc. Such an amazing place we didn’t want to leave. Would love to come back someday! If you don’t book it you will be missing out!

A magical week at Salt Winds!

Whatever the weather, the view from the property is jaw dropping. Perfectly situated for sunsets, the outer Hebrides in the distance on a clear day, all from the comfort of a spacious yet cosy house. We'll be back, as we want to see the Northern Lights!
