Fantastic location for the beach and fishing off the pier. Condo was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony view. Easy drive to downtown locations. Kitchen is sparsely supplied with spices, etc, not ideal for cooking, but I'd have known that if I had read all the information more carefully.

The condo was great. Loved the view and access to the private pier. Great view from the bedroom too. Watch the sunrise/sunset from the balcony or in bed. Had to stay an extra day because of a storm back home and they were able to accommodate us.

The property was very clean and well kept. The views from the living room and the main bedroom were fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. My only issue was with seating. The couch was worn and sunken. We could not use the couch at all. We thought the chair by the door was a recliner but it did not recline.The location was awesome. There were plenty of very good restaurant's nearby.Overall it was an awesome stay.

It was a good location and we liked the condo, the workers on the deck and in front of bedroom windows was jarring and uncomfortable.Wi-Fi down for an extended period of time.

The exterior of the building is under renovations for normal updates and maintenance. The condo was exactly as pictured in the listing. The pier and grills were very accessible, as well as the pool.

My partner and I had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed spending a few days in this well appointed condo. The view is wonderful and you have to see the sunrise. Close to shopping and dining. You can’t go wrong if you stay here.

This condo was exactly as described. Very clean, well-stocked kitchen and a big plus, it's not far from elevator or the beach..Just an overall comfortable beautiful place to stay when you visit Amelia Island. We had the best time and will stay here again. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful relaxing experience!

We stayed at this property for the first time, upon the recommendation of some friends who stayed in a different unit at Amelia by the Sea. This unit, 222, is lovely, clean, comfortable (great bed!), spacious, and convenient. We plan to return next year!

The property was under construction & we knew this when. It didn’t disturb us at all. People were friendly, pool was clean & refreshing. Condo was so nice. Communication was above & beyond. Worst thing with us was deciding where to eat as they’re so many choices.

It was relaxing and fun, the condo was fabulous. So clean an well stocked.

We found the condo extremely clean and well stocked. The view from the balcony was the best. It was quiet and very comfortable. The check in and check was very easy. It was furnished like a Florida condo should be, light and air. I plan to come back in the fall to 222. The girls were great to work with. .

Pros:*sunset views were amazing*nice size pool and clean*Amelia Island itself was a lovely place to vacation*people everywhere were so nice and helpful*beach was lovely *communication was thorough *kitchen updated*beds very nice*bedding and towels nice*good size washer and dryerCons:*it felt like a business vs owner *little things added up*they clearly stated they did not provide some essentials. I mean nothing. Not a chip clip not Tupperware nothing. First time I’ve been in a VRBO with this lack of convenience. But they did state this. So pack everything *communication was thorough but for sure rote/ business like*cleanliness lacking in places - many dirty dishes put back. I even had to soak a pan that was coated in old food. It was enough that I went thru the dishes and ran a load in the dishwasher to make sure it was sanitized/rugs not swept/bathroom sinks rims dirty *couch was very uncomfortable *we went off season middle May so this might be the reason why but there was no property cleaning when we were there. The stairwells were dirty, no sweeping of hallways, elevator dirty. *pool furniture was uncomfortable for lounging. Bring your own chairs/loungers

A Charming Coastal Getaway with Room for Improvement

Amelia by the Sea offers a lovely coastal escape with beautiful views and a convenient location. While the overall experience was enjoyable, the unit felt a bit outdated and could benefit from some updates. The living room furniture was a bit worn, and there was a limited number of hangers in the closet. Additionally, the trash drawer needed a fresh coat of paint. Despite these minor issues, the property managers were very responsive to our needs and quickly addressed any concerns. However, given the high price point, we expected a slightly more luxurious and up-to-date experience. Overall, while Amelia by the Sea is a pleasant place to stay, it's important to consider the value for money when making your decision.
