Perfect getaway
Publié le 30 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a 5 day get away with some friends for my 36th birthday. Was so lovely to adventure out in downtown fernandina, and relax in this homey rental. I enjoyed the pool/spa and with the beach access a short walk away I got to enjoy the sand and sun also. All the furniture was so comfortable. The stay was worth every penny!

Great location and comfy
Publié le 14 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay and would like to go back to enjoy the pool, beach and area when not cold/raining the whole time. The pool/hot tub looked soooo inviting! This is a great location- central to everything and easy to find. LOVED the shower although bathroom tight for more than 1 person. Note the noise/traffic, since on busy street - we got used to it. Overall great stay!

Great space with pool and hot tub

Across the street from the beach and can walk to some good beachfront restaurants. Owners are so responsive it is great. Big bonus they can get you on the Ritz golf course at very reasonable rate. I would come back again.

Firstly, we were able to bring our beloved pup who enjoyed her romps on the beach. The beach is within easy walking distance, 2 good restaurants within walking distance, so close to ALL of the wonderful restaurants in the historic district ( loved Timoti, Cafe Karibo, T-Rays, Espana and Nana Teresa’s bake shop ). Rode bikes to Fort Clinch and through beautiful neighborhoods. At the end of a long fun filled day we relaxed in the wonderful hot tub. All wrapped into one lovely, comfortable home! They were very responsive to our needs. You will love it!

Great Stay

Gem on Fernandina Beach
Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayLovely house, great pool/spa, kitchen/bathrooms were well organized, spacious rooms nicely decorated. Great location across street from beach & close to nice restaurants & Clinch State Park. The house felt like a home then a rental!!

Secondary bath in garage not well kept home
Publié le 6 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayI absolutely hate to leave this review. However the property screams maintenance deferred and the owner has checked out. Pool was dirty, bugs (needs pest control). The yard and grounds have not been mowed, weeded or maintained in months. The secondary bath is not located inside the house. It is actually a concrete laundry room and bath located in a breezeway outside home near pool. This property is extremely overpriced. The furniture has seen better days both inside and pool area. I feel robbed at almost 600.00 per night for Labor Day Weekend.

Hi Brandy, We are sorry you feel the house was not up to par with the value. Just so you know, the pool is cleaned 1-2x weekly and was cleaned to perfection (I received a picture) on the Friday just before you checked in. Unfortunately with pools that are open to the elements (not screened), they do accumulate dirt and debris more quickly. The lawn is also maintained on a weekly basis, however, a house on beach dunes has a hard time keeping grass and growing anything but dune-friendly weeds- a constant struggle for us! We do have recurring pest control but again, beach life attracts bugs such as roaches and they often crawl out of hiding to die... sigh. The second bathroom is advertised as being detached from the house on our listing so hopefully that wasn't a surprise. We appreciate the feedback and do take reviews and feedback seriously. We just only wish you had notified us of these issues during your stay so we could have tried to rectify in some way/shape/form. We are typically very ON IT and resolve issues quickly. -Brian & Ashley (owners)
