Absolutely beautiful place to stay when visiting Jaipur. The rooftop patio is gorgeous as is the dining area. Breakfast was super! Lots of variety and so yummy! Our room was clean and the bathrooms had a nice large separate shower. The shower was hot! We would definitely stay here again.

If you want a hotel, with traditional Indian decor, think beautiful colours, historical pictures of times past, then the Umaid Bhawan is the place to stay. The room was very comfortable, with every modern appliance, but keeping with traditional values. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold offerings, you can sit in and outside…it is a really comfortable and surprising brilliant hotel, when you have other more perceived “modern” hotels close by, if you want something more Indian traditional, the Umaid Bhawan is worth your money.

Good value for money, Breakfast was great, room is good for two people, for three with a rollaway bed was congested. Have to climb the stairs to the room as the elivator didn’t go all the way. Bathroom was ok.

Hotel is beautiful and the suites are gorgeous and comfortable. Unfortunately if you are on the 3rd floor the restaurant is above you and you get constant very loud noise of chairs scraping on the floor and very loud drumming and music until 10 p.m. and again the early morning. Also, our reservation was for a room with 2 twin beds and we were given a room with one bed. We had to move rooms the next day which was inconvenient.

This is a lovely, quirky hotel which is bursting with character. Our room was impressive and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the rooftop restaurant on two evenings and on each the food was fresh and delicious. The live music added to the enjoyment of the evening.
