… I’m not one to kill just everything I see but I killed 3 roaches, a mole cricket that was on the bed and I let the spiders go… I understand it’s a country setting but not about some bugs on the counters..,

Rachel, we are so glad you like the cottage, but were very concerned with your comment about the roaches. We take great pride in providing a clean and comfortable stay for our guests and have never had anyone express any concern. We do have the cottage treated for pests monthly and I immediately contacted our pest control company after reading your review. They made an emergency call to the cottage to treat any infestation of roaches; however, report that the house is "super clean" and that they "see no activity of any kind." It is true, despite regular treatment we may have a spider or cricket slip by, but they quickly die inside the residence; however, we have found no evidence of roaches on the property.

Relaxing Weekend
Publié le 24 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home was very inviting and so cozy. There was everything we needed and a perfect environment to read, relax and enjoy the sunsets. The walk to the water was also nice and not too far. Overall a wonderful trip.

Great quiet getaway!
Publié le 9 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwaySara, was an excellent host, great communication to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was exactly as listed. Lots of space to spread out. It was a great Fall view from the front yard. Lake access is a little ways down the road. We really enjoyed our stay!

Girl's Getaway

The home is lovely and inviting and had everything we could possibly want in a vacation rental. There was no need to contact Sara for anything, but she did check-in with us throughout our stay.

Best Labor Day Trip

It was very clean as well and the kitchen had everything we needed to help us cook the food we brought and enjoy our stay! Thanks to our host as well for all her help and communication. Definitely one of our favorite trips ever. We loved everything about this place and the location.

Perfect retreat away
