Spacious, bright and beautiful. This craftsman style home could be your home away from home when you visit our area. The property resides in a quiet neighborhood in the coveted Cathedral District of Joliet IL
Near I55 and I80 highways, and on;y a couple miles from the Metra train station, there is fast and easy access to anyplace you wish to go.
We look forward to hosting you!
Cleaning: Before each guest arrives, our home is professionally cleaned and thoroughly sanitized for your safety and peace of mind.
Perfect for vacationers, families, and business travelers. Main Floor: 2 sleeper sofa couches, large dining table seats up to 10, 55" HDTV, dedicated work desk, fully stocked kitchen, with stone counter tops and all new stainless steel appliances, hall closet with high chair and pack n play crib, children's toys. Enclosed 3 season front porch, enclosed rear porch and open rear deck,
2nd floor : 2 bedrooms with queen beds, hallway full bath.
Lower level: Large king bedroom, sleeper sofa, upholstered chair, full bath, laundry room with full size washer / dryer plus utility sink.
All bedrooms have, blackout curtains and 4KHD tv's!

We are walking distance to many great restaurants. Near the Metra train station to Chicago, The Rialto Theatre, Louis-Joliet Shopping Mall, St. Raymond's Cathedral, Joliet Slammers Baseball, Harrah's Casino, Haley Mansion, Historic Joliet Prison where Blues Brothers movie was filmed. Also Chicago style pizza!
Note:
- You must be 21 or older to book and provide a valid photo of your D.L. or State ID.
- In the summer we limit the AC to 72 because this home is older and not as well insulated as modern homes and it will damage the unit. To assist, we have either ceiling fans or floor fans in the bedrooms to help circulate the cool air.

We had a wonderful stay here although there was something out of control of the owner. A skunk had died before we got there so there was a very bad smell in the front of the house which did kind of disturb a portion of our stay and we had to buy a candle to try to mask the smell. We stayed for two night for the day before the wedding and the night after. It had everything we needed and the dining room had enough space for 2 makeup artists and 1 hair stylist to set up. Overall it was a comfortable stay in a nice area. The picture provided is the bride in the front room.

Perfect Spot for a Quick Getaway

We had a great stay at this home in Joliet for a weekend golf trip with three of my buddies. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchen to plenty of space to relax after a long day on the course.The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and we were within easy driving distance to several great golf courses and restaurants. The host was super responsive and made check-in a breeze.Overall, it was the perfect base for our golf weekend. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!

This was our hub for our son's wedding at the Jacob Henry Mansion. Location was great for the wedding. We did have a heat wave and the AC had a little trouble keeping up, but that was not a major issue. Loved the updates in the home. The fold-out couches were super comfortable too!

Awesome house!

We loved the house! It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and worked out great for our visit to Lewis University. It appears to be newly remodeled and updated. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of supplies for 12 people. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

Convenient and clean

House was perfect for parents, two teens, grandpa and our miniature schnauzer for an Easter weekend visit. Neighborhood is safe and cute - very walkable with the dog. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Good communication from property manager at every step along the way. Don’t miss grabbing Home Cut Donuts in the morning!

I have stayed in many rentals for vrbo and this one was my favorite. It had lots of areas for storage (kitchen, bathroom, closets) and plenty of hooks. The house is lovely and I was able to relax as if it was my own house. Six adults stayed here and I didn't feel crammed. However, the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The kitchen items were in excellent shape. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. If you're trying to decide where to stay, this one is a winner!

Medical Stay

My daughter goes to school in Chicago and needed surgery but we live in Holland, MI. This house was perfect for us to all stay together during this time and we could take care of her as a family. We got to bring the dog which helped ease anxieties and stress! The neighbor was lovely and I enjoyed my breaks from nursing by walking the dog. Thank you so much!!!! 😊
