Great location, but leave more to be desired

Everything was dusty and sticky inside the unit. Seems as if they just wipe things down between stays, but never actually clean the unit as decorations and everything was dusty.
We were greeted by being told not to use more than one appliance at a time meaning the blow dryer and microwave would trip out the power for the entire unit if used together. When I am paying a substantial amount of money for a week to stay I expect that the electrical works. The hot tub was broken for 2 days of our stay, I did inform the owner and they got it fixed after 2 days of communication.
The listing for the palm villa is not a true 2 bed 2 bath. The second, much smaller bedroom is actually in a hallway to the larger bedroom which is highly inconvenient as there is no privacy for anyone who stays in that room. It should not be listed as a bedroom.
We made the best of it and enjoyed our stay, however for the price I would expect more.

Perfect Stay Exactly as described
Publié le 24 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayFamily of 5 with 3 teens. Property was exactly as pictured and was perfect location and size for our family. The host, Susan, was wonderful and very responsive. Hot tub was great. Didn't use pool as it was cold (stayed in March), but would probably be great after a hot Hawaiian day. Didn't need the AC but AC units were available. TONS of toys, beach chairs and snorkeling equip for fund days at the beach. This was really appreciated by our kids.

A little market just a 10 minute walk away. Perfect! We would definitely come back to this same location in the future!

A place where you can feel at home while in paradise.

If you are looking for the resort feel, this is not your place, but If you are looking for somewhere you feel like a local, this is it. Susan and her family were great hosts; they were quick to answer questions or assist with an issue, and although they gave us our space, they were kind and caring. We absolutely plan on staying again.

Perfect Kailua location
Publié le 26 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayHelpful and friendly hosts. Great selection of beach toys to use. Location is top notch. Easy walk to Kailua beach so no worries about parking. Right by Buzz’s Steakhouse. Great A/C. Kitchen well stocked. Nice big fridge.

Kailua Beach Getaway
Publié le 16 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayA fantastic location to Kailua and Lanikai beaches and walks. A short distance to restaurants and cages and kailua downtown. The host was very responsive. The property was fairly dated and could have been cleaner, however the walk to the beach was so close. The Internet and washing machine were not working, but the owner communicated and got the Internet fixed and did the laundry at their property.

Amazing Location Across from Kailua Beach
