Séjour parfait sur tous les points
Publié le 21 nov. 2011 sur ExpediaHotel refait. Donc des chambres très propres et plutôt de bon gout pour de "l'anglais". Amabilité à l'accueil par toutes les personnes que nous avons approchées. Salle de petit déjeuner sans grande personnalité mais petit déjeuner copieux et parfait pour un english breakfast.
La région Costwolds plus au sud est magnifique, même sous un ciel un peu gris. Quelques villages superbes à visiter. Parfait pour passer deux jours dans la région et se balader.

Publié le 4 mars 2024 sur HotelsUnfortunately the room I had booked was oversold so they had to degrade me. The receptionist kindly waived the fee for my dog as a result. However, I was put in the ground floor disabled room which was right by the bar and noisy till 1am. I suggest guests are informed of this in advance.
Additionally I showered and it flooded the floor as the drain must have been blocked. The staff were prompt in fixing it but were nonchalant about it in their response

Needs improvements
Publié le 26 févr. 2024 sur HotelsThe room especially the bathroom wasnt overly clean, the grout in the shower was orange. There was tissue paper blocking the spy hole in the door which housekeeping obviously hadnt noticed and the hairdryer was sticky. The hotel room needed some TLC, the windows were dripping condensation in the morning and the grab rail in the bath wasnt secure. (I didnt report this)
Music was playing loudly until 11pm which we could hear in the room, when we mentioned this we were told it is every other Saturday and next time request a room over the bridge as that is quieter. The car park didnt feel secure.
Positives were breakfast, a good selection. The bar man was helpful and friendly. Dinner was good and there was a nice choice. A cot was provided free of charge.
Great location if visiting the castle.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room nice and clean, however the windows don’t open and the air con system wasn’t working so woke up
