Everything was perfect. The personnel was outstanding and the guide of our game drives, Allan were amazing. Only one recommendation: the only thing lagging behind all the wonderful other aspects is the cuisine. Too little fresh produce and often not really healthy food . Would be worthwhile to improve the gastronomic aspects of Ukhozi, especially given the high price of accomodation.

Publié le 22 nov. 2017 sur ExpediaTrotz verfühter Anreise standen uns beiden Bungalows bereits zur Verfügung. Wir wurden herzlich durch das immer zuvorkommend und hilfsbereite Personal empfangen. Während unseres 2 tägigen Aufenthalt stand uns unser persönlicher Guide ständig zur Verfügung. Trotz des schlechten Wetters (kalt und regnerisch)haben alle Safaris stattgefunden und unsere Erwartungen wurden voll Erfüllt. Einziger "Makel" war das unser Guide leider kein Wort Deutsch sprechen konnte.

Publié le 17 sept. 2017 sur HotelsWe had an amazing time. Our guide Juan was really committed to making sure we saw every animal, bird and even the insects that live in Kariega. Great food and service . Highly recommend a 3 day Safari. You won't be disappointed

Brilliant Experience!
Publié le 26 août 2017 sur ExpediaWe were on honeymoon. Stayed 3 nights (about right) Everything was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff, the lodge, our chalet, the food, our ranger.. Couldn't fault a thing.
Saw so many animals, around every corner there was something new. Brendon our ranger was fantastic, full of info.
Well worth the upgrade from main lodge etc. I couldn't rate our experience high enough.

Teuer - aber das Geld wert !
Publié le 26 mars 2016 sur HotelsSehr gut durchorganisiert - zur Nutzung des Zimmers bleibt bei 1 - 2 Nächten Buchung kaum Zeit.
Die Safari mir Rose war spektakulär, erstens wegen ihrer Person und ihrer unleugbaren Liebe zu ihrem Job - was sich auf alle Teilnehmer übertrug.
Sehr gut auch die enorme Tierdichte im Park - der Vorteil eines teuren Private Game Reserves. Ich war zuerst wegen des Preises skeptisch- muss nun jedoch sagen : Es hat sich voll gelohnt ! Während unseres Afrika Urlaubs hatten wir in 3 versch. Unterkünften Safaris - dies hier war (zähneknirsch) die teuerste aber auch mit deutlichem Abstand die beste von allen.

A worthwhile experience
Publié le 10 avr. 2015 sur HotelsStayed two nights. Due to poor weather we unfortunately missed the final morning game drive. Whilst different vehicles would not have prevented that because streams and animal tracks became swollen and impassible we did comment that we had experienced another game drive with open sided but canvas covered roof vehicles which protected occupants from rain, sun and potential animal charges without losing the openness of a game drive safari experience and viewing platform.
Additionally the other experience offered much higher standards of room fixtures and fittings for a much lesser amount of money. Many may be disappointed by room standards and the reality of the "plunge pool"
The guide and staff were however very informative and helpful. The restaurant staff were brilliant in helping to offer food suitable for my wifes rather specialist medical requirement diet.

While the cover may keep off some rain and sunshine we feel that the open vehicles provide a much wider and more expansive game viewing experience. You will be pleased that we are in the process of refreshing the rooms at Ukhozi Lodge. We love the simple style and views from the suites but also know that we need to constantly revise and review our offering. Thank you for your frank feedback.

Pour : Gute Organisation der Safaris inkl. Getränken und leckeren Snacks während der Pausen.
Contre : Die Suites sind reichlich abgewohnt und könnten eine Renovierung vertragen.
Umgeben von schöner Natur und vielfältiger Tierwelt beginnt für Frühaufsteher die Morgensafari bereits um 6Uhr. Ein faszinierendes Erlebnis, das niemand sich entgehen lassen sollte. Ein persönlicher Guide betreut einen während des Aufenthaltes.
