"The hotel and grounds are beautiful! We were only there for 1 night so not able to take advantage of all the amenities. The Front Desk clerk was new and did not provide all information about the property. The instructions on how to get to our room were incorrect. We decided to have a drink in the lounge and upon entering both staff members were fully engaged in their conversation. We asked if we could select our own area to sit and were told yes, but not in a friendly welcoming manner, more annoyed that we had interrupted their conversation. The level of Customer Service did not meet the level of the property or prices they charge. We were glad to have dinner at Marigold which was an incredible experience."

"Excellent location. Love having the horses on property to watch and pet. Owners were very friendly, helpful and quick to reply to messages. Suggest posting WiFi password in the cottage; we had limited cell service and needed access to check in instructions. Cottage very clean and well kept. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage on the Merrie Mill Winery property. The cottage itself is cozy, unique, and very well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen, quality cookware and glassware, and a great Nespresso machine for morning coffee.One of the highlights is the location—you can walk right out the front door to the tasting room, where the views are beautiful, the wine and food are excellent, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The staff and guests made us feel like part of the family.The property is stunning, with rolling hills, vineyards, and plenty of space to relax. We especially enjoyed sitting outside with coffee while watching a group ride horses through the property. It’s also very pet-friendly, which made the trip even better for us.The host, Guy, was very responsive and easy to communicate with. During our stay, we also attended a winemaking event hosted by Lizzy and the head winemaker—an unforgettable experience with great wine, food, and stories.We stayed here for our 21st anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place. We would absolutely return."
