Peaceful Cabin in the woods
Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was as described and more. The location is awesome and private yet only minutes from Mt. Rushmore and lots of restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfortable and I felt right at home— highly recommend!

A few issues

When we wanted to unwind at night and watch tv, the signal was going in and out- we finally gave up! Kept disconnecting on phone as well. The bathroom is extremely small- no need for a tub. Would have been nice to have a bigger counter by sink and a bigger shower. The toilet was horrible. It felt like it was going to rip right out of floor and would wobble and rock when you were sitting on it. Upon arrival, was a bug in the bed too. What appeared to be a dead spider fell out of one of the towels as well. With that being said, I would not recommend.

Perfect Little Getaway in the Woods

It was so quiet and peaceful in the woods, but not too far from the sites and civilization. We enjoyed seeing deer and turkey from the little sitting area outside, and roasting marshmallows in the evening around the firepit. It was less than 10 minutes away from Mt Rushmore. The little town of Keystone was a fun area to walk around and eat a casual dinner. I highly recommend this fun little cabin!

Perfect spot to visit Mont Rushmore (only 10 minutes away). Lovely and cosy cabins.

Publié le 6 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was very attractive. We enjoyed the drive to the cabin from Keystone. Very close access to Mt Rushmore. The trip was top notch and we wish we had planned to stay longer.

Publié le 23 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayHugo cabin was perfect for the two of us! The bed was the best ever!! Plenty of hot water for the long showers after walking and seeing everything. Steps may be an issue for people with mobility issues, but we did just fine. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin!!
