Publié le 15 août 2018 sur HomeAwayLa maison de village est très propre et bien équipée. Les quatre lits sont très confortables. Pas de souci avec le WIFI. Depuis l'étage on a vue sur la mer. Nous avons passé quatre jours tranquilles sans surprise.

Excellent house and village, inadequate information

Consider bringing all comestibles needed for your stay, especially if you come in on the bus — no eggs or butter (or Prosecco) were waiting as indicated in the listing. Some instructions for non-locals are badly needed: Strive not to be scalded in the confusing shower, and you’ll need to turn on the power to the stove in order to cook. The location can’t be beat, and the place is charming. We just needed accurate expectations and some guest information.

Beautiful Wemyss
Publié le 25 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis cottage is set on a hillside adjoining several cottages. The views from the back overlooking the bay are spectacular. The only negative is that the village has no restaurants or pubs. You will have to drive to neighboring villages to buy food or to eat in a restaurant or pub.
The beds need to be mentioned as they were very comfortable. The cottage was clean, but did not provide garbage bags, batteries for the controller, nor detergent for clothes washing. Also, there is no dryer.

Publié le 23 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayTerrific small row house, well equipped. Terrace faces the water w view of 16th C tollhouse tower. Lisa was very responsive. Provided a raft of books, pamphlets on local history, architecture. West Wemyss is well located for exploring the East Neuk Villages.

Fantastic property in a gorgeous location
Publié le 25 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and well equipped and had the most wonderful views. The Fife coastal path was on the doorstep and we enjoyed several walks. It is also convenient for travelling into Edinburgh and many other local towns including St Andrews. We would highly recommended this property.
