Good check in process but no lifts.....

Good warm welcome,check in process very simple but no lifts had to carry suitcases up on staircase anyone with a disability avoid.

Good cheap stay in perfect location

Was a good cheap hotel. Has all of the basics. Bed is shockingly hard compared to my hotels prior in Phuket and Bangkok but after having one other stay in a better hotel on Phi Phi, they were the same.

Based on address direction it is a completely different location. Most of the neighbors didn’t know by the name of the hotel. Out dated over all. Staff is nice and helpful.

Happy with my stay

Lady had great English and was very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage safely there and explore for a few hours after check out. Great location and it wasn't too noisy considering the area (and I'm a light sleeper) Room was a bit small but still comfortable and had working WiFi and a fridge which came in very handy. More toiletries like shampoo and shower gel would be very welcome.

Very good budget option

Pretty run down hotel but they have what you need! Probably the loveliest lady on the island running the place and they provide you with a couple of water bottles for your room daily. Definitely value for money and everything was working as it should.

Great location and service

This place is located in the heart of Phi Phi island center. The service was great, helpful and attentive. The room was clean and the owner is very friendly and kind. Highly recommend it.

Overall great place. :)

It was comfortable, and and colorful. Simple and what we were looking for. No problems with the room or area; plenty of restaurants and things nearby. We didn't experience problems with volume even without earplugs, though earplugs and an eye mask likely good ideas as it is in the maze of things going on on the island. Very helpful staff.

The guest house was run by the nicest lady. She was very accomodating and easy going. Please keep in mind this guest house is not a 5 star hotel so I am reviewing it accordingly. It came with all the basic needs. The rooms are old and stained, but I can't say they were dirty.

Everything was great at check in. They got me in a little early, which was nice because I had carried my pack quite a ways. I had a room with no window (well a window to a hallway), which I didn’t mind until the evening. They leave the hallway window open to all the noise down below. Fine, I brought ears plugs in prep for this as it is a party place. At 630, they started doing some really loud construction and screaming talking right outside my room and the earplugs did nothing for that. The water and electricity went out a couple times while I was there. I had to sit in the dark waiting for it to come back on, so I could take a shower. The water was brown and the toilet and sink leaked. They don’t clean the rooms daily, so you have to ask for new towels etc. there was also a very rude member of the staff. I paid more for this place due to the reviews and it was just very disappointing compared to all the other accommodations I had in Thailand. It was also the most expensive. It is worth $15-20 not $50.

No frills comfort, great value and hospitality

The R.C. Guesthouse is a no frills hotel right in the center of all the action on Koh Phi Phi. The ferry port is 10 minutes away by foot, the beach 5 minutes by foot, and everything else like restaurants, bars, shops and tour agencies are there for you the moment you step out the door. The rooms were small but clean. The AC worked great and the staff were so kind to us. We stayed in hotels 3x the price in Phuket but honestly did not want for anything here. Koh Phi Phi is a place you want to get out and explore, so the simple hotel here is the better choice. We will definitely stay at R.C Guesthouse upon our return.

Last minute booking was made to stay here. We arrived within half hour of booking online and check in went smoothly. Friendly staff. Big room. Air conditioning and warm shower! Fridge in the room with free drinking water. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Only downside is the noise from outside but the hotel can’t help this.

Great value and helpful staff

Very good value for Phi Phi, which can be very expensive! Room was clean and quiet which given how close to the centre it was was very impressive! Great location, five minutes to beach/7 eleven and bars/restaurants all around. Staff very kind and helpful, organised our transfer back to Krabi and our full day sunrise tour of phi phi leh for 1500 baht each (saw this being advertised at 1600 elsewhere!) All round good room, value and staff for the area!
