The employees have a lot of trouble communicating with non-Japanese speakers. The facilities in the room - tv, air conditioning, washer/dryer - are also only in Japanese without English guides.

Separate toilet & shower n tub is very nice feature. In suite laundry is a very convenient to travellers. Within 10mins walks to main train station make easy daily commute. Love it ;)

Amazing property in a great location!

We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were beautifully presented and had everything you needed and more. It’s a short walk from Kyoto station which was useful for getting around. There’s a family mart next door which made getting snacks and drinks very easy. Overall we would happily stay here again without question and round be our first choice hotel when we visit Kyoto in the future!
