Great location has ventilation issue
Publié le 26 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe location is great and the porch amazing. The upstairs bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Where we had issues was downstairs where there was a strong mold/mildew odor and we did find evidence of this (have photos). Perhaps this is to be expected as the house is over water, but I hadn’t expected it to be so bad that we could not stay. Two of our group are highly sensitive to mold and had reactions, so we left after one night, but could not get any refund. The property manager was highly communicative, but didn’t seem to fully grasp how big a problem this was for us.
Potential renters should also know that the downstairs bedrooms are very dark with little ventilation. There were no screens on any windows in the house, so we couldn’t leave them open for ventilation without letting in mosquitos.
There were also tiny bugs around the kitchen sink (I have video).

Good property right on the water

Casa Parguera
Publié le 6 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayAmazing location, property manager was really attentive. Really close to Caracoles. Loved being in the porch in the morning watching people in the kayaks. So peaceful! Definitely will be staying there again!

Awesome weekend
Publié le 6 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was as describe. The location was excellent. We were 12 all family, and really had a very good time. The kitchen was very well stock with pans, pots, dishes, etc. We are a very big family so some of them stayed on a nearby hotel, but arrived at the property to say hello, have dinner and to get on the boats to get to the “cayos”. The host, Louis, was very comprehensive and allowed us the exception. We are very greatful for his understanding!
The only set back was that the first night, the air conditioner in one of the rooms didnt work. The couple that was going to sleep in that room, decided to leave and we all reimbursed them their share. In the morning, I told the Louis, and he took care of it that same day. We acknowledge his immediate response. Eventhought we suggest that when an event like this happens (that not all the guest were able to stay because of an issue with the property) there should be some kind of adjustment for their share. That said, we did have a very good time and hope to stay again. Recommend it 100% Thank you Louis for sharing your property with us.

La casa es la experiencia completa de la Parguera
Publié le 24 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwaySu localidad es muy buena. Se puede ir caminando al poblado. Tiene espacio para estacionar vehiculos frente a la propiedad. Comoda para compartir con viarias familias ya que en el segundo piso hay cuartos y baños. La calidad de toallas de baño debe mejorar. Las toalla de playa estaban bien. La cocina muy bien habilitada. Volveria a rentarla!!

Great location, and a very responsive host

Our host was great to respond to any questions we had while there.
Only thing I wish was that the kayaks pictured were able to be used.
Otherwise would definitely go back!
