Garret, Thank you for your feedback. I am a bit confused as to why you did not call me directly if there were issues when you checked in, I would have offered some type of solution/compensation. I checked the house personally, as I do for all of our homes, prior to your arrival and it was immaculate (our cleaning company is 5 star rated). You had no trouble calling me for a late check out at 9:18 AM on the day of your check out, when you said "the house was clean prior to us getting here and I just want to be sure we leave it that way." I politely explained that housekeeping would be there promptly at 10 AM and that you just needed to put any dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on and take all of your garbage with you. I asked how everything was, you said it was great, that you had a great time and even texted me some pics of you and your buddies sitting around the table enjoying a few drinks and using the amenities. I will be sure to post this so that other travelers can see. Instead, you left 40 minutes late, (the housekeepers check in at every location via GPS and it is date and time stamped), left garbage and dirty dishes in the sink, all of which we were charged extra for (I will post those pics as well). It is not that we do not want to extend late check outs to our guests, but in the height of the summer season, these homes are booked back to back. I explained that there was a check in coming in. We have to adhere to CDC recommendations which state that we need to have a 6 hour window between check ins/outs for cleaning, disinfecting, laundry and restocking to prepare for the next guest. When you paid the extra fee, I was impressed that you were honorable and took responsibility, because you initialed and signed the contract before arrival, (which is very clear on check out times and check out instructions, as is the listing), so when I did your review I factored that in. It's quite disappointing that you chose, instead, to write this unfair review, because of the choices you made.
