Roomy, cozy forest getaway near lake and village

Cozy, comfortable, and quiet - If you need to take a break, this spacious mountain cabin is just the place. Nestled among the pines and cedars on a large lot, our spacious cabin is a family-friendly escape to the relaxing tranquility of the mountains.

Two miles from Lake Arrowhead Village, our cabin is close to shopping, restaurants, and services – but not too close to the house next door. With hiking, skiing, and so many other activities nearby, there is always something to do – but you may just want to enjoy the silence from the large deck, fenced yard, and windows that open up on a property filled with trees. With thoughtful touches throughout, a fully-stocked kitchen, fast WiFi, and Roku-enabled televisions, you may never want to leave – but we’d recommend you make time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and experiences you’ll find just around the corner. Within five minutes, you could be at Lake Arrowhead Village, the SkyPark at Santa’s Village, movies and ice skating in Blue Jay, or any one of several parks, hiking trails, and scenic vistas.

With parking for two cars, three floors, accommodations for eight, and 2,100 square feet in which to spread out, our cabin is perfect for either a quick getaway or a family get together. Outside, find a spacious deck, an enclosed yard, a seasonal stream, and a basketball hoop. Inside, plenty of common areas and four bedrooms and three bathrooms mean there is plenty of space to relax, entertain, and even work (if you must) among the peaceful pines and cedars.

Be prepared for stairs both inside and outside of the cabin, and please note that though our cabin is an inviting year-round refuge, there is no air conditioning – but even in the warmest summer months, the well-shaded location and seven ceiling fans keep the temperature pleasant.

Please note that there are only two parking places, and street parking is not allowed. During winter months, please use extra caution, and be prepared for below-freezing temperatures and hazardous road conditions. Chains may be required at any time during the winter season.

Lovely property nestled in the trees by a bubbling brook. Plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. Fully fenced in yard for the dog. Nice grill on the deck. We really enjoyed our stay. The king and queen bed are very hard- much too hard for us to sleep well, though that is a matter of preference. The stairs to the bedrooms are slippery with no traction and the dog fell down the stairs. He is ok but we had to help him navigate them every time he wanted downstairs. Overall would recommend, just be careful on those stairs for dogs/kids.

Great Arrowhead getaway

We stayed 2 nights with our adult children and their families, which amounted to 6 adults one child and one infant. There was plenty of room for everyone. We were lucky to enjoy the beautiful seasonal creek with mini waterfalls just below the deck. Home was very clean and well stocked with essentials.

Great for a quick getaway

The property is well maintained and in a nice quiet area. Still very close to the Village for shopping or dining. The check in process was easy and communication was excellent throughout the stay.

No better place to stay in all of the Lake Arrowhead area

So this home had everything you could've asked for & more. It was spotless upon arrival, the check in process was seamless. Everything worked, the beds were as described. If I could give this listing 20 stars it wouldn't be enough. There was plenty of space and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The fireplace and stockpile of firewood was so clutch. I'm already looking at booking another reservation here sometime in the first quarter of 2021. David was accessible and responded quickly to my emails. I honestly could not have asked for anything more. You can stop looking & just book this location. Trust me, you're going to absolutely LOVE it.

A great Thanksgiving in the cool pines

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin near Lake Arrowhead. The owner sent all the information we would need in advance, and was very quick to respond to our questions. The cabin was very well supplied, and the location was very convenient to lots of recreation areas. We would definitely consider this again for future trips!
