Home away from home

Property is clean, well-kept, and just far enough from the strip to enjoy some peace and quiet, but not so far that its an entire mission to load the family up for tourist activities. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and spices, etc. Pool was clean and well-kept - and even had pool noodles, toys, and other goodies for use.
I cannot say enougj good things about this house, host, and our time here. It definitely made traveling with 3 kids to a vegas for a wedding less stressful. Renata was nothing less than amazing with ensuring our needs were met and addressing any concerns or issues we had - even those of our own stupidity. I.e., we couldnt figure out how to lock a door. We will definitely be booking again for future trips to vegas due to the location, amenities offered at this property, and the wonderful host and their kindness.

Great Week in Henderson
Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a great spot for our family.... the trail along the wash was used by everyone! Tennis/pickleball courts very nearby. The house was comfortable for all and the kitchen was well-supplied. 15 minutes from the airport and plenty of restaurants and strip malls nearby. A short distance to the Strip and we made several trips to the Sphere, OmegaMart/MeowWolf and shows. Host was accommodating and helpful. Hot tub was great.. but turning it on was confusing. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful home away from home.
Publié le 14 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayStayed 5 days and 4 nights with 5 adults and 1 teen. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms made this ideal for a longer trip. Beautiful outdoor area with heated pool and spa. Lots of room to spread out inside as well. It's close to the airport, strip and shopping but located in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay again.

Publié le 21 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayBEWARE!! If you have less than 8 overnight guests be prepared to pay for eight. We booked for 2 guests, paid the $40 for the second person. We were charged for 6 additional overnight guests for an additional $240. We DID NOT have any overnight guests. The owner said the maids said it looked like beds were used, but there were no sheets, blankets or pillows on the 3 other beds. We also paid $80 to have the pool heated to be taken out of the deposit. The water was cold the whole visit. The grandkids said the water was cold. So was it really heated? Then the hot tub broke. The pool guy came and fixed it and said everything was working fine. She says that it must have been our fault and she would charge us $600. We asked for a receipt to document the problem. We never received a receipt. Remember, when the pool guy left he said everything was working fine. And then there is a safety issue. There were no lights in the garage. All 6 fluorescent bulbs and 2 for the garage opener were all burned out. Some of the stone edging around the pool were loose. The granddaughter slipped hitting her head and scrapping her back. The ice maker for the fridge did not work, the water filter needed to be replaced. The BBQ did not have any utensils. So, finally, she is keeping our $500 deposit, $240 for guests that we did not have, $80 to heat the pool that did not heat. That equals $320. There is not any documentation to explain why the owner kept the other $180.

Crystal.. You guys broke the pool pump, by removing sweeper, cost to rpair which I sent invoice was 600, I kept 500 security deposit which did not even cover repairs so you were not charged anything for pool heating nor extra guests.. Also ytou confirmed pool was 83 degrees,.. so it was definitely heating!!

Some good, some not so good

One shower sprays in a cone and not direct on you, but it's ok, we just used the other shower.
One toilet handle broke off. That's ok, there are 2 other toilets.
The pool was full of leaves and there are test strips littered all over, we just skimmed the pool and cleaned up the garbage.
The edge of the pool is loose and if you step on it and don't know you can biff hard, ok, don't step there.
The mattresses are worn out and super soft, thats ok we just made a bed on the floor out of spare blankets and didn't fuss.
A lot of light bulbs are burned out, we just moved them around so we could see.
The iron had melted plastic/polyester on it and ruined my favorite shirt, that's ok, I understand the guest who did that just didn't say anything and so the host didn't know to get a new iron.
The check out instructions had us taking the garbage and recycling out to the curb, wash all dishes, and replace the key. Ok that's fine, seemed extensive but we also did a load of towels and gathered all linens to one area because they seem like they have a hard time cleaning so we did our best to help them before their next guest.
After checking out, the owner accused us of having other people there even though we explained to her why blankets and the other bathrooms were used. Apparently the cleaning fee doesn't cover the whole house. If you are just a couple and not a large group and you're not allowed to use the whole place.

Nicole, The pool is cleaned weekly, if there are 80 mile an hour winds there will be leaves in pool, Pool man came out and cleaned the next day none the s
less. Pool has been completely remodeled and no loose stones. There is an additional fee for additional guests, you were only charged for 2 persons not 8, Also everyone likes the beds, no one has ever mentioned about matresses being soft, but if you prefer floor I do not have matresses that hard that is trure.
